Bottle from the Otown throwdown. Orangish color, with a apricot colored head. Aroma is really nice and full of peaches. Has a lot of peach in the flavor with less sourness than I expected. I liked this more than the strawberry by upland.

hopscotch (10901) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - APR 3, 2009
Bottle... C&PsLYFO Throwdown... Murky, lightly golden ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Peach and funky, barnyard aromatics with a side note of old, salted, vintage cheese. Medium-bodied and watery with soft carbonation. The flavor is subdued, but tangy and peachy. Fruity, lightly sweet, moderately tangy finish. Bottle. Poured a cloudy gold with a slight pink hue and a white head that dissipated completely. Aroma had a nice tart peach note with some sweet peach and a slight sweet cereal note. Flavor began with sweet peach, but a nice tartness grew to really round out the beer.

Flavour is composed of coconut, caramac bar, sour peach and pineapple. Palate is milky, medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Nice funky sour character.

Bottle @ Matts house. Somewhat hazy, golden yellow appearance with a white head. Richly tangy lemon citrusy, stone fruity, apricot/ rich peachy, a bit woody aroma. Pretty rich peachy, chalky, fairly mineralic, quite sour flavor. Tastes like My Little Ponies. The scented one to be exact. Overly sour like most of theirs.

2013-08-17. Crisp orange body, near headless. 3+ Aroma of funky peach and a general impression of fruit, Flavour is surprisingly not sour, relatively sweet peach throughout. Average plus bodied palate, very low carbonation. Enjoyable and shows off the peach nicely but not nearly as intense and assertive as some of their other sours. Bottle, 2008 or 2009 vintage, not sure which, Campground Brewdown.

Bottle that was kindly passed on in a trade by the marvellous Miketd when we met in NYC in Nov 08, cheers me old mucker. Peach skins and yeast leap forth from the nose of this beer but there is a definate sour light acidic note as well. The beer poured a muddy orange colour there was no head and it lacked much in carbonation. Taste was just a little disappointing, I really expected something more zappy and sour than it was, as it was it came across as perfectly pleasant but seemed to strike me as the smoothie of the fruit lambic world and just a little too safe. There is plenty of peachy flavours, too much sweetness remains, a likeable beer but one that just needs to be more in your face to be taken really seriously. A7 A4 F6 P3 OV14 3.4
