Clear, light gold with a white head. The aroma has some skunk and pool water notes. Not good. It has a light thin body with lively carbonation. The taste is mildly sweet with a quick finish. jandd1983 (4577) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - MAY 9, 2014
Sampled at DLD 2014. It poured a golden color with a white head. The aroma was of hops with a dry caramel matly profile. The taste was similar with a nice sweetness and decent hoppiness. Nice. kiefdog (1827) - Tampa, Florida, USA - FEB 24, 2010

Clear gold with a white head. Nice bready pale malt aroma with a honey sweetness. Light/medium body. Good pale malt grist flavor with a nice bitter, clean finish. Good Pils. CaptainCougar (7634) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - DEC 4, 2003
Pours a mild golden with a big frothy white head. Pleasant Saaz hoppy aroma with a dry caramel matly profile. Clean, crisp body has a nice sweetness and good authentic hoppiness. One of the best Pilsners I've had. Very smooth and flavorful. Thanks bigbadbear63!

Draft: This is the best beer I've had from Upland. Spicy hops in the nose and flavor. Crisp and flavorful with a nice mouthfeel. Had to order another! tallmatt67 (99) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - SEP 29, 2003
(bottled) Deep straw color, bright with light haze. Grassy floral & faintly toasty aroma. Malty punch followed by quickly fading clean finish, but lingering expansive bitterness. Creamy carbonation and medium-body. Great! BBB63 (6567) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - AUG 17, 2003
UPDATED: DEC 7, 2003 Rerate: The taste is more refined with a smooth european character, causing me to bump up the flavor and overall scores by 1 each...Original rate: Grassy yellow with a small head and little lacing. Aroma of Saaz hops, toasted malts, apples, caramel, and grass. Crisp aromatic hops followed by light malty sweetness. Dry and clean finish. Light-bodied, with a watery and fizzy mouthfeel. Quaffable summer session brew. Works for me.
