Draft locally from notes. Pours a clear orange amber color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have caramel malts, lightly toasted bread, grass, herbal notes, some fruity character, blah finish, just another amber. akoeninger (763) - Wisconsin, USA - FEB 7, 2014
Amber color with a caramel and earthy leafy hop aroma. Taste is caramel malts, bitter earthy hops, lemon. Medium mouth feel. A good amber

Rated on 9-19-2009 at Mad Anthony Brewing Company OctoBEERfest in Fort Wayne, IN. This draft beer pours a medium sized ivory head with a lengthy retention, transparent gold body, visible carbonation, and excellent lacing. The Aroma is caramel malt, citrus and pine hops. The Taste is bitter, caramel malt, citrus, pine hops and crisp. The Palate is mostly smooth and lightly fizzy. This beer is medium bodied. Overall, this beer is easy to drink, refreshing, not overly hoppy tasting, worth trying, and a beer I would drink again. BrewBoxer (2650) - New York, New York, USA - NOV 10, 2013

Sample at Pint House during a tap takeover. Pours a hazy orange-amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of malt, hops and caramel. Light-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, floral hops and pine. The finish is mildly bitter with a short piney hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Pours a red amber with low carbonation and a thin head. Aroma is malty with a slight chemical small like chlorine. Malty taste with a bitter hops middle and finish. Tastes sterile with a bitter aftertaste and a sticky mouth feel. b3shine (8928) - Indiana, USA - JUL 4, 2013
Bottle to snifter (shared with the Mrs.). Looks solid; a fairly transparent amberish orange with thin off-white head. Smells and tastes lightly sweet and hoppy with some caramel notes. Average on the palate. An easy drinking amber, but could be more flavorful. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 19, 2013
16oz on tap at Dewey’s in Oakley. Clear orangered color. Good thin off-white head. Nice, thick creamy lace. Medium body. Good, smooth lighter carbonation. Nice creamy texture. Caramel malt, and a satisfying amount of spicy hop. Light tropical fruit in the aroma. Nice lightly spicy, light bitter taste. Mostly sweet, though. Very drinkable, smooth, satisfyingly hoppy amber-red ale. AndyW68 (1554) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - MAR 28, 2013
