Upland keep los it on their fruit sours. All seem so well balanced from fruit to oak to musty barnyard characters. This one had great strawberry aroma that added to their dimension from the funky tart brews. a++ egajdzis (6996) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 8, 2008
Poured a hazy golden red color with a medium sized, pinkish white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of brett, wood, light vanilla, and strawberries. Taste was wild yeast, sour, light vanilla, wood, and a pleasant berry finish. Thanks for sharing John! axilla (962) - New Providence, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 23, 2008
Gushed a little. Poured a cloudy pink/golden color with a very light pink foam. The aroma was big wild yeast, strawberries, and some light oak. Flavors were sour/funky yeast, strawberries, green apples, and oak. A most excellant lambic. Huge thanks to pnista for hooking me up with this!
