Nitro version on tap at tap room. Nice complex aromas up front, Smokey, coffee, roasted marshmallow. Ebony color with nice dark tan head. Sweet up front, molasses, coffee, dark chocolate, nice blend. Nitro is a nice touch. Nice boozy warming touch on the finish. DSG (14921) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - FEB 22, 2017

EBF 2017. Imperial stout with all of the notes you’d expect -- big flavor, big hop bite, and big, warming alcohol. The cocoa nibs set it apart, though, adding a very strong chocolate flavor. Sweeter and more complex than most imperial stouts I’ve had. tmongoose (2504) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - JAN 6, 2017
draft that poured a dark brown with off white head. just basically your typical stout. nothing really jumped out on this one. plenty of roasted malts, hints of chocolate. there was a mild bitterness either from the chocolate or the hops or both. overall it was just a decent stout. nothing wrong with it and it is very drinkable. Pour from a 12oz bottle picked up in WI this weekend. Dark black pour, though not overly thick. Nice chocolate and hoppy nose with some roasted malt. Nice flavor, dry, bitter chocolate with a nice hop character. Cool beer.

Brown black pour. Nose of cocoa nibs, chocolate liqueur, licorice dark cherry and soft roast. Flavor is more chocolate liqueur, light gritty roast, dark fruit and faint licorice. Lingering roast and bitter chocolate. Chewy mouthfeel. Pretty solid. tmoreau (4420) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - JAN 19, 2016
On tap at Lunar Brewing Co., and snifter served displaying a black/brown hue, with a fairly persistent hat of tan froth, and wavy ribbons of lacing. The nose was heavily roasted, cocoa, and malty creaminess, with a slight woody scent. Medium to full bodied, with moderate carbonation, the taste added a touch of dark fruit sweetness, and a roasted, resinous, & earthy bitterness that lingered, finishing with a bit of tartness. An Imperial Stout that was hefty, slightly creamy on the tongue, and hid it’s abv fairly well. Especially suited our present weather condition! fluffy (2472) - St Petersburg, Florida, USA - DEC 30, 2015
This is a little thinner than I woulda have thought, but still a very good stout regardless.

From 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Black with medium light brown head, chocolate, coco, raisins, molasses. Medium oily body, medium carbonation, medium bitterness. Long cocoa finish, lingers for a while, also some vanilla lingering. Nice beer.
