2014 12oz bottle. Black pour with a tan head. Big dark chocolate on the nose with some hops and roastiness. Taste is big on the dark chocolate with licorice, dark fruit, oats, molasses as well. Great beer! 574deadzone (1419) - North Central, Indiana, USA - NOV 18, 2014
2014’s 12 oz. bottle. Pours pitch black with a thin mocha head that dwindles to a thin ring and leaves some spotty lace around the edges. Nose involves rich dark chocolate, toasted malt, licorice, fairly intense herbal hops, some cherry and plum. Quite sweet, but pretty bitter as well. Medium to full bodied, viscous, softer carb, finishing toasty, warm, and toward dry. Nice brew, pretty drinkable but still with substance. arn8897 (392) - Trenton, Ohio, USA - NOV 15, 2014
Pours a dark brown with a dark kahki head. Aromas of chocolate and coffee. Thinner than most ostmeal stouts at this high an ABV. Goes doen way to easy. Almost no booze taste at all. Hops come out a little more as it warms. Very drinkable. Will definetly try again. Growler fill at Middletown Fine Wine and Spirits. Krej (224) - USA - OCT 5, 2014
This is a very good stout. Smells very chocolatey. It’s black as shit and has a nice thick bit small foam ring around it. The beer looks a little like Jupiter from the top. Nice and creamy mouthfeel thats a little thin, but still has some body to it. Tastes great!. malkyore (377) - - OCT 5, 2014
Stouts have character! This stout is no exception. Sweet enough to be balanced, with a complex chocolate coffee flavor. For 10% its way too drinkable. You could pound one of these, its that kind of good...

Bomber (marked October 2013) into La Petite Tulipe - nose is roast and chocolate. Sip intensifies the roast character at the expense of the chocolate. If you’re going to point out that part of your product is made from fair-trade practices, then don’t be surprised when smart asses state that the rest of your product was made under a "bureaucratic machine in which you’re embedded as the dehumanizing monolith it is." djd07 (14496) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUN 21, 2014
Bottle thanks to Cal. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong cocoa nibs, dark chocolate, roast. Medium mouthfeel with strong roast, cocoa, dark chocolate, and bitter finish. Decent. kwoeltje (2233) - Manchester, Missouri, USA - JUN 10, 2014

Strong effort, nose is a bit yeasty, color and head are very nice....just the way you hope. Mouth feel is a bit weak. Taste is solid on the front and middle but more bitter on the end than this beer calls for.
