22 oz. bottle with a bottle date of Oct, 2012 thanks to queenholy about a year ago. Dark brown color almost black. Thin a very thin ring of head around the snifter. Aroma is chocolate malt, bakers chocolate, and light espresso bean. ICEatALAMO (1350) - Troy, Michigan, USA - APR 18, 2014
Alcohol is hidden pretty well, yet for a higher gravity beer I was expecting a much fuller, bold body. Flavor is mild chocolate and roasted malt with a pretty large hop bitterness showing in the finish. The finish shows anise and light alcohol burn. Even after sitting awhile, you can tell that you’re drinking a 10% ABV stout. Its gets sharper as it warms. Pretty nice mouthfeel with a smooth velvety texture. Good Impy stout, not top tier.
Bottle. The pour is dark, little head. The aroma is mostly chocolate malt. The taste is a little light and a little harsh taste. Wish there was more chocolate and coffee. Roast is noticible for sure, hides he abv. Overall was expecting more. solidfunk (8965) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - APR 2, 2014
A lot of vanilla and cacao stand out on this beer. Pours black with ok head and lacing. Thick consistency with a fairly bitter finish. Some roast malt, but the chocolate and vanilla really dominate this. Bottle thanks to Bmoosey. jcos (1851) - Maryland, USA - MAR 9, 2014

22oz bobmer from bmoosey, thanks Bruce. Poured a deep black body with an average sized foamy beige. Aroma of dark chcolate and dark fruits, soy, cola and vanilla extract, burnt toast. Fuller body with softer carbonation and a lingering aftertaste along with a well hidden ABV. Flavor of loads of roastiness, slight touch of oxidation, vanilla extract, cola, charcoal. Not bad. eelbasher (285) - New Jersey, USA - JAN 14, 2014
Bottle via swap. Pours redish black with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted coffee beans, chocolate, plum, and an astringency. Fairly thin body for an impy. Roasted malts, light chocolate, dark fruit, and a linger bitterness. Strange astringent flavor that somewhat throws it off. Some berry notes linger. Decent but was expecting more. Bomber from queenholly opened Christmas evening. Thanks! Pours a dark brown color with a medium sized dark brown head. Good head retention. Aroma of roast, leather, chocolate, mild notes of dark cherries. The taste is chocolate, roasted malts, mild cherries, currants, tobacco. Medium bodied, slight lingering bitterness, slight heat, low carbonation, good balance. Nice beer.
