Sample at the brewpub. Clear amber-orange color with a medium foamy white head that recedes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of earthy hops, citrus and rye malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short citrusy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

deyholla (12021) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - AUG 7, 2015
On tap at Brickhouse. Pours a clear amber with a tan head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has musty grains and musty grass with a decent amount of biscuit. Flavor has grass and a hint of pine but is mainly rye and biscuit.

Draft at Dutch’s. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma has a decent amount of fruity hops with some spicy rye notes. The flavor has less fruity character and more toasted bread, spicy rye, moderate bitterness, light citrus. There are more interesting pale ales available.

3.4
phaleslu (10547) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 31, 2014
Draft at The Brass Tap. Pours a clear copper color with a small white head that leaves some spots of lace. Notes of light citrus fruits, leaves and florals, straw, rye, honey, and biscuity, pale and sweet malts. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry, earthy mouthfeel. Drinks simpler than the description. Easy.

DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 18, 2014
On tap at Dutch’s. Clear orange amber color. Thin off-white head. Leaves good, thicker lace. Good light piney hop, some citrus, nice biscuity malt, and light rye spiciness. Super smooth, lighter carbonation. Kind of crisp. Moderate bitter taste, light sweet. Flavor is kind of mild, but this is a very easy-drinking rye IPA.

3.2
b3shine (9072) - Indiana, USA - APR 14, 2014
Draft to taster. Looks good for the style; a mostly transparent golden orange with eggshell head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells of mild hops and pale malt with a bit more rye spice. Tastes like it smells, but blander, at least in terms of the hops and rye. Average on palate. Smells better than it tastes.

Draught at brewery.. Light hopped IPA with some caramel and malt. Ok overall.
