A clear brown ale with a thin lacing mocha head. In aroma, nice caramel malt with smooth floral hops, and light orange pulp. In mouth, a nice roasted and grainy malt with nice floral hops, very nice coffee notes, well done. On tap at brewery, Oct. 5 2012. bb (9268) - Alamo, California, USA - OCT 23, 2012
Draft. Mahogony beer with a cream head. Malt aroma. Malt and cooca flavor with light nuttiness. Medium bodied. Cocoa and malt linger with light caramel. mcberko (17830) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 15, 2012
On tap at Upright tasting room, pours a hazy dark copper brown with a small beige head. Aroma of toasted nuts, and light caramel malt sweetness. Flavour of toasted hazelnuts, dry caramel and some fresh hops. Well-crafted and full-flavoured for a low ABV brown ale. Very good. trevor211 (1681) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 29, 2012
Garnet-colored, with a smallish, dense head. Toasty grains, a touch of honey, and a significant hop bill. They aren’t kidding, this one finishes super-dry, with a nice hop punch toward the end, bringing a bit of citrus fruit. I get more into Upright with everything I have.
