Draught. Orange pour with white head. Lekker floral aroma with a bit of spice, Pleasant malt with hop and cream flavour. Floral finish, good for session drinking. I missed this the first time it was released. Glad it’s back. pushkinwow (2851) - Ottawa, CANADA - DEC 30, 2013
On tap at the brewery. Hazy vibrant yellow with an off white head. Grainy english malts, reminds me of a pilsner, dry straw, some lemon. Definitely got better as it warmed up but still not really my thing. ericdevin (988) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - NOV 15, 2013
Draft at Smallwares, Portland. Pours a slightly cloudy golden straw, little to no off-white head. Aroma slightly biscuity, overtones of citrus hops, very fresh. Body lively and clean, very easy-drinking. Finish brisk and crisp, equal consideration of malt character and hops. Could drink this forever. Alphadelic (2249) - Portland, Oregon, USA - NOV 10, 2013
Draft at the Source. Lightly eggy. Crisp smooth and with a very mild bitterness. The grain is straw like and shallow. Decent and very English.

Draft at the source. Hazy golden color. Aroma of dusty black pepper and....Baptists? Probably not, I just can’t read my handwriting. Taste is peppery straw and hay. Anyway, a decent enough bitter. douglas88 (9508) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 19, 2013
On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy copper color with a medium white head. A light nose oranges, toasted malts, some sweet grains. The flavor is very satisfying: big biscuity malts, hops shine, very clean. A thorough example of this great style. Very fresh and sharp bitterness. Great. Tap and Growler from Upright. Low haze golden pour. Medium foam, webby lacing. Nose is mild lemon, light butter, biscuit, pilsner malt. Taste is soapy, lemon custard, lemon peel, improves as it warms to more of a pilsner. Big biscuit and grass. Pretty nice. Universally praised at our tasting. mcberko (18434) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 12, 2013
On tap at Upright, pours a cloudy light golden with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out subtle English hops, Flavour brings out English malts, some earthy, and a little funk. Tastes like a farmhouse version of an English bitter, finishing on hay notes. Great stuff - one of the better bitters out there.
