Thanks Thomas for sharing this one!! Instant fav. Pours a deep red with a strong scent of berries. Didn’t catch the cherry in either nose or taste but raspberry was prominent. Very nice tartness would love to try this one again

750ml bottle. Thanks again to Todd for all these sole comp bottles... Aroma of cidery cherry and berry forwardness. Some fruity seediness to boot... Cidery spiced vinegar flavor profile with prickly carbonation. Sour cherries and berries throughout with a lighter level of carbonation. Tart and sour upfront but quickly drying with effervescent carbonation. Short abruPt ending to the flavor but refreshing nonetheless.

Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate raspberry, light strawberry, and a touch of lemon. It pours a hazy, bordering on cloudy, brownish-orange with a thin white ring for a head. The flavor starts with a nice blend of tart raspberry and strawberry. The finish has light-moderate lemon with some light citrus. It’s light bodied with mild carbonation.

Bottle. Pours murky orange/red/brown with a tiny ring of head. Aroma of peaches, raspberry, black cherry, butter. Flavour of the red berries, nicely tart, acidic. Nicely balanced, clean. Very drinkable. Nice.

750mL bottle, sent from julian (thanks a lot man), pours an opaque dark orangey amber with no head. Fantastic aroma of various berries (cherries and raspberries come to mind), low tartness, and oak. Flavour is less monolithicly fruity, with oak barrels, cherries, raspberries, and some acetic tones - only a slight tartness. Finishes slightly tart, moderately acidic, and berry-centric fruity. Excellent stuff.

Apricot color, small off white head. Big tart raspberry aroma. Quite tart but not very sour, not that much fruit. Palate is good.

Bottle sampled at Muckfest III. Clear reddish amber pour with a thin white head. Malty nose with notes of tomato, spice, berry and funky sourness. Cherry and raspberry flavor with sour undertones through and through with a bit of malt in the finish.

Bottle shared by Puddintane at Muckfest III...thanks Dave! - Pours hazy amber with a ring of tan head. Nose is apricots, lightly tart, with smooth, oaky citrus. Don’t get any cherries or raspberries. Taste is the same, with nice tropical fruit coming through, mellow oak, and vanilla. Mellow carbonation with a full body.

On tap at Belmont Station. Colour...murky amber with no head. Nose...perky with moderate funk and loads of crushed raspberries and macerated cherries. Palate...a quick sharp attack of acetic acid that quickly fades and allows the berry/cherry blend to bring out the "love". Not too funky, not too fruity and not too sour! This is one helluva well balanced blend and I’m glad I finally got to share in the love!

3.9
TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - JUL 8, 2012
Bottle shared at MuckFest 3 - Saturday Edition. Pours a richer reddish deeper amber pour, good haze, reddish glow and firm haziness. Frothy whitish head dies to a ring, laces small. Aromas are richer touches of sour fruit, peaches and lemons, sour crab apples, sweeter pears. Touches of coriander, straw, gentle oak, and doughy malts mix with a generous bretty funk of cobwebs, funk, and dust. Gentle pineapple grows, some touches of melon, tropical fruit. Firmer berry elements come in for me more as it warms. Very nice. Initial is lighter end of the fold offering firm sour fruit, apples and lemons, touches of oak, brett, lactic acid and yogurt. Richer pineapple brett influence grows with touches of bready, grainy malts that make way for a smooth, funky wild influenced beer. Mellow sourness, rich citrusy fruit melange with raspberries and cherries taking jabs of tartness, and a firm bretty influence gives some good flavors. Firm. Sour jabs grow, give some life, lemons and lactic. Inviting sourness, funk, good smooth wild blend.
