Bruce’s Birthday Bash at the Craft Clerkenwell. Thanks to Bruce again! The Eric Cantona looky likey threw me for a bit! Very hazy amber beer. Small suddy cream coloured head. Light and slightly dry. Mild sourness, fresh raspberry. A little lemon. Zingy. Mild seltzer minerals. Semi dry finish. Not bad.

Bottle at CBC - Clerkenwell, London during Bruce’s 30th Birthday Party. Many thanks to Bruce! Pours cloudy gold with a fine, white cream cap. Big acetic fruit aroma. Medium sweet flavor with big tangy bite, some juicy berries, mellow dryness. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Pungent tartness to finish, more acetic zing, lemon, berries. Massively tart beer.

Bottle @ Bruce’s birthday tasting. Cheers, Bruce! The pour’s a hazy amber color with a small head. The aroma’s raspberry tart, sweet berry jam, some general acidic funkiness. The taste is more of the same. Robust sweet raspberry. Bucolic field. Fresh, summery flavors. Soft tartness, hints of brett. Light body, very drinkable. Fine carbonation. Overall,a really impressive beer. Top work.

Bottle at Bruce’s 30th, massive thanks to the main man himself! It pours hazy golden with a small off-white head. The nose is creamy, raspberry yoghurt, dark cherry, fresh sour fruit and plum skin. The taste is tart raspberry, puckering lemon, oak, Granny Smith apple, apricot, sour peach, faint vinegar and sherbet with a dry, tart finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Lovely sourness, crisp, refreshing and damn delicious! Not particularly complex, but very drinkable.

Bottle at jtclockwork’s place for a tasting. Pours a slightly murky looking amber with a thin white head. Big sweet raspberry and cherries on the nose, soft and musky with a bit of acid. Medium bodied, soft acid and a bit of tart cherry with some fuzzy raspberries. Absolutely lovely, fuzzy musk and soft acid. Gorgeous stuff.

Bottle shared at tasting at my house. Pours amber brown with tan/off white head. Nose and taste of tart raspberry, funky wood, wild yeast, light cherry vinegar tartness, light caramel and aged oak. Medium body. Well balanced tartness - not overpowering. Raspberry shines through a bit more than the cherry.

Minderbinder (3469) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 25, 2013
Bottle 750ml. Pours slightly hazy dark amber/dirty pale brown. Not much head, but some lacing. Aroma is of sourness, cherries, fruits, acidity, sligth metal. Taste is of sourness. Not too much acetic. Fruits. Palate: Ligth-medium body. Overall: Refreshing. Fair sourness, not too cloying as some muricans can be.
