Solid coffee stout, enjoyed this more than the BA version, proves to my palate that BA aint the be all and fucken end all! deekyn (1459) - San Francisco, California, USA - FEB 26, 2014
A - opaque cola brown with almost no head, but some sticky lacing. S - the nose is cola syrup, chalky chocolate, coffee grounds, and vegetal and burnt malts. M - dry almost chalky mf. Medium body. Weak palate. Cloying sweet end. T - the front is coal, vegetal malts and cheap dried out dark chocolate. Cocoa powder, vegetal malts and coffee grounds follow. O - uninspiring to be sure. Simple chalky stout. 2.8 marcus (10142) - Sacramento, California, USA - MAY 15, 2011
On tap at Belmont Station. Pours black with a rich light brown head and a chocolate and coffee aroma. There is a hearty coffee flavor with a subtle chocolate finish. It tastes pretty good, but a slight soapiness keeps it from being outstanding. 3fourths (9331) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAY 14, 2011
draft. cookies and chocolate cereal nose with mild coffee and mild chocolate malt that both seem to meld into a more generic roast/chocolate/coffee. medium-light body. silky, mildly sweet, light throughout. tasty. leems (406) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 9, 2011
Tap. Pours black with a thin tan head. Great big coffee aroma, just fantastic with some chocolate underneath. Flavor is upfront roast and coffee, thinner mouth feel than I expected but works well. The coffee is very apparent but what do you expect? Nice rich flavors linger on the tongue for just long enough.

Tap @ Grain & Gristle... Poured pitch black with a tan head that was frothy and retained nicely with full lacing on the walls of the glass. Nose had faint coffee grinds in it. Lots of coffee flavor. Like iced coffee with a mild acidity. Thinner body with a decent amount of roast and mocha goodness. This is a damn fine coffee stout and could drink this pretty regularly. dwm1034 (784) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 4, 2011
