On tap at the brewery - Pours clear yellow with a small white head. The aroma has clean undercooked dough, light spice and is more malt forward that a lot of pils. It is light bodied and refreshing with mild carbonation. The flavor starts off with fresh cut grass, sulfur and graininess. More hoppy than the aroma let on. The finish is very dry and cracker. Very solid pils. joeneugs (6372) - Livermore, California, USA - MAY 15, 2011
On tap at Beer Revolution. It pours pale yellow with a small, dense disappearing head. The aroma is honey, grains, earthy/sulfuric hops and lots of straw and hay. The flavor is the same with a firm body and some honey. It has a potent combination of grains, hay, and a bitter noble hop finish. I’m even picking up a hint of brett funk. Good one.
