Bottle at DC Epic Sour Tasting 2014, courtesy of noodleuser, thank you sir! I’ve been tantalizingly close to tasting this one several times before, thank, Joel, for finally making it happen. Hazy yellow color, fluffy of white head. Gorgeous aroma of perfume, fresh meadows, light funk, grapes that have been carried around in someone’s grandmother’s skin folds (and I mean hat in a good way). Taste is softly sour mixed summer fruit, lavender, berries. Delicious.

Mega Tasting at Bruce’s pad. Cheers to Bruce. Very hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is crisp and dry. Light tantalising acidity. Mild floralness and a touch of worcester sauce. Crisp dry finish.

Bottle shared for Jack’s presence in London. The cartoon label seems off. But still, thanks to Bruce for sharing. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a creamy white head. Some tangy citrus in the nose, touches of apple, hay. Light sweet flavor with more hay, tangy lemon, pale malts. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Pretty clean finish, tangy citrus, soured Wheaton lots of lemon, so,e tangerine. Lovey beer.

Mild säuerlicher Pfirsichantrunk. Im Mittelteil gleichen sich Säuerlichkeit und Süße aus, runde natürliche Fruchtnoten. Zum Ende eher bitter als sauer, kurzer Abgang. 11/9/9/7/9/8

Cloudy orange color with small to no head. Complex, fruity, peachy, and a bit lemony, with elegant acidity; much better than when I had it on tap. Excellent.

2016-01-01, draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver, 10th Anniversary party, 7-3-7-3-14=34
Cloudy, golden, and flat. Sour, definitively it has Lambic notes, more lemon, but also light cheese/yeast notes; some aroma of peach and yeast.
Nice, but I expected more.

Bottle split at the Broken Flatmate tasting, big thanks to Bruce for whipping this one out, 03/01/14. Murky orange amber with little in the way of a head or covering. Nose is tarte fruit, orange sherbet, straw, fleshy peach, tarte apricot, light damp wood shavings. Taste comprises lemon rind, hay, tangy citric fruit, bitter apricot, orange sherbet, grassy. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, sweet tingle in a drying closure. Nice work!
