COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Last year we added some fatali peppers to an oak barrel of Four, lending it a fruity flavor and some heat as well. We enjoyed that batch quite a bit and plan to do a blend of three barrels this go round, all of which were brewed at different times ranging from April 2009 to just a month ago (December 2010). The barrels also have different yeasts and bacteria in them as well which should make for a pretty complex profile.

750ml brown bottle passed around at RBAG ’17. Gold with a light switl of white head. Sour and lemony nose, light funk. Taste - spice, peppers, throat warming pepper head and some sourness at the end. Interesting.

Reddish orange pour, good sized head. Chili, lemon, barnyard, slight lactic sourness in the aroma and taste. Heat more prevalent in the finish but doesn’t detract from the base beer. Fairly tart and spicy finish, lighter to medium body.

Rating #2437 - 2016.04.11 - Draught @alibiroom - Copper&Theory TT. Aromatics - mild funk, mild chili, mild citrus. Cloudy orange pour - looks like juice - no head to speak of. Chili sours may be my new thing, the lingering heat plays with some sweetness, funk plays with both. Diggity.

Bottle shared at Ratebeer awards show. 30/01/2016. Huge thanks! A hazed yellow golden coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is peach, melba, yogurt funk, solvent alcohol. Flavour is composed of woody doughy grains, spicy , raw grains, tangy wheat in the finish. Palate is wheaty grains, doughy, lowish flat carbonation. Meh.

Poured a hazy golden with a white head. Aroma was oaky, brett, light acid, lemony and grainy, no sign of peppers. Flavor similar except a big surprise burn in the throat. A really unique and innovative beer.

Sample from a 750ml bottle c/o JTClockwork, thanks! Filtered tan-orange body. Thin, glass rimming head. Quite a unique beer. The chilis really stand out, the sour is more underneath, but you still get that nice clean base. Really memorable, a fun one to try. Almost has a liqueur feel. The heat sticks around.

Bottle at RBWG. It pours a hazy yellow color with a white head. The aroma is super lemony with a touch of orange. Not much pepper. The flavor is nice and tart with a little spicy heat that creeps up on you. A little funk and pleasant vanilla barrel notes in the finish. Very tart and spicy. Interesting.
