Keg at The Grove, Huddersfield. Hazy orange shade. Nice white head. Nose is spicy, creamy vanilla. Taste has a nice fruity character. Apricot, tangerine and jammy berries. Slightly tangy and resinous. Very nice but I expected a little more from it. HerrBierkoenig (1591) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - NOV 6, 2015

On keg at the Grove, Huddersfield. Previously had it out of a bottle and enjoyed it more, so maybe this keg is a bit old/oxidized. Dry, crisp, light, crushable saison. Bit of ashy lemony incense. Peppery and well balanced. Nicely done. superspak (5871) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - OCT 6, 2015
750 ml bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but was just released into the state last month. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy deep orange/amber color with a 2-3 finger dense and fluffy off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a dense cap that lasts the whole glass. Nice dense soapy lacing lings around the glass, with a large amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Incredible appearance. Aromas of big lemon, orange, melon, pear, apple, pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, earthy hops, and bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big lemon, orange, melon, pear, apple, pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Moderate amount of peppery yeast spiciness and herbal bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange, melon, pear, apple, pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Very nice robustness, complexity, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, earthy hops, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness/spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Very dry finish from carbonation. High carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, moderately sticky, and slightly creamy mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent hoppy saison style. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, earthy hops, and bready malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering. Sampled @ Borefts ’15. Pours a clear golden beer with a big white head on top. Aroma of light citrus funk, slightly tart and some nice, subtle hoppy influences in the back. Flavor has an earthy note, fairly bitter, crisp and light fruity aftertaste. Quite soft and very balanced. Nice one. Stuu666 (14533) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 27, 2015

From tap at De Molen during Borefts ’15. Aroma of fruits, citrus, some yeasty notes, floral, hoppy notes. Flavour is lightly sweet and moderate to medium bitter. Body is medium. Not big on Saison funky yeast, but it has a refreshing bitter fruity hoppy character. Very nice.
