Four is truly a light yet flavorful beer. The recipe uses a good portion of wheat and incorporates a sour mash into the process to make it slightly tart and extra refreshing. It has delicate aromas and flavors that span a range of floral, grassy and herbal notes. The finish is extra dry and makes the beer a great beverage to pair with food, especially various cheeses and shellfish.
Malts: organic pale, organic wheat, organic munich
Unmalted: rolled wheat
Hops: hallertauer mittelfrh

Pours very pale with a huge rocky white head, I guess I dont know what to say beyond that, except that its a damn nice looking glass of beer.

The aroma is simple primarily doughy and herbal with some light bright maltiness. Smells pretty great though...

The flavor is all sorts of satisfying. Bright, nicely hoppy in a good herbal way, the bitterness is @ a real nice moderate level. The beer is very dry & lightly tart with some very mild fruity character and some good grassiness. I mean, there isnt much I dont like about the beer and it ticks a whole lot of the right boxes for me.

The palate is lively and somewhat sharp.

Geeze, this stuff is fantastic.
Also wish for no more alcohol... 4.5% = low boost.

Pour is hazy yellow with a thin head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is composed of lemons and light fruits and spices. Quite subtle and nice. Taste is similar with a little more yeast. Mouthfeel is light and quaffable. Overall a nice and subtle low ABV beer that is ultra drinkable. I would drink again and again if I could.

This is a very nice light refreshing beer. I loved the floral aroma emanating from the generous head and the beautifully unique hazy yellow color with a hint of orange. Just wonderful on a sunny afternoon!

750mL Bottle. Thanks for sharing, Sean! This beer is for me. Gods water. Not my first Upright beer, but close, as its my first Upright bottle. Clean, mineral and light malt aroma. Tangy, fresh, and grassy upfront. The emergent quality of this reminds me of the best, freshest chevre, with delightful tingling clean herbal qualities. It feels like delicious, thirst slaking medicine. Very, very good table beer. Wish I could drink this every day.
