Light citrus and herbal hops aroma, slightly grassy. Taste is lightly sweet, lightly bitter, lots of herbs and floral hops, lightly fruity. GT (10017) - San Diego, California, USA - OCT 7, 2012
750mL thanks to BrainLayer. Pours a full hazed straw. Soapy, large foam. Suddy retention. Nose is puppy breath- cleans up after sitting out for a bit. Gains pineapple, lemon, dough. Still some celery and dog. Taste is grassy, lemon soapy, very bubbly with some acrid bitterness. Not quite complete. More like a work in progress. Sharp oil, vitamin C, some medicinal sharpness in the palate. Still refreshing, but not close to be being a world class saison. As it warms, more pineapple and white peach throughout. Small tartness, biscuit, lemon, dough. Refreshing.

Bottle courtesy of BrainLair. Pale, opaque light orange-yellow pour with a fluffy white head. Lots of carbonation. Aroma of yeast, pepper, and grapefruit. Flavor is peppery and lightly tart. Bitter grassy hop finish. Decent session beer. jcartamdg (3539) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 27, 2012

Bottle, 09/15/2012. Pours light hazy orange, large sudsy big-bubbled head, light lacing. Fruity, floral yeast component in the aroma, coriander, light barnyard, mild grains and grassy hops. Taste is light wheat, lemon notes, herbal citrus hops pop in the mouth, spices and bit of funk in the finish. Nice, sparkling palate, refreshing and easy to drink. Nice brew.

April 26, 2011 - 750ml bottle at Volo shared with blankboy. Hazy amber-gold with a diminishing creamy/frothy white head. Dry aroma, very fruity, pungently tart apricot, with some green oak tannin. Taste is a perfect balance of lush mostly ripe fruit and sourness - not OTT sourness, just enough to balance the malt - not much alcohol - really appealing - perfect for a light bodied tart fruit beer, solid carbonation, light acidity, a stinging not grabby finish - so nice. r464 (2377) - Earth, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 5, 2012
Hazy gold with a huge carbonated white head that faded quickly. Crisp, somewhat tart and fruity, and a bit yeasty. Light earthiness. Really nice and punchy, refreshing and drinkable. Huhzubendah (3775) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 16, 2012
Bottle shared by 321Jeff. Thanks!
The beer is a hazy, straw yellow hue with a couple inches of thick, white head that leaves a thick sheet of lacing on the glass. The aroma brings lemons, spice, grass, fresh celery. The flavor is refreshing with crisp, zesty carbonation. Light floral and citrus notes are quite enjoyable. The feel is light on the palate. Highly drinkable.

Murky light gold with an ample white head. Herbal, bright aromatics. Light to medium bodied with high carbonation. Lemon zest on grains and herbs. Amazing length for such a light beer. DavoleBomb (1867) - Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 13, 2012
Poured into a tulip.
3.5 A: Nearly clear golden wheat color. Three fingers of pillowy white head. Retention is good and a little bit of irregular lacing is left.
3.5 S: Lemony and wheaty with grassiness all around. Dry hay, musty rotting wood, and a light floral/vegetal combo. Faint corriander. Finally, something between plastic and sorachi ace hops, but thankfully this isn’t very strong. I read some reviews before buying this and the beer I’m smelling doesn’t have the spiciness that I read about. Oh well.
2.5 T: The strongest flavor might be the one I hated the most in the nose. The sorachi plastic is back and distracts from the good flavors. Lemon rind, wheat, grass, hay follow. Big herbal character in this. Lightly floral with musty dustiness, rotting wood, and apple orchard. This reminds me of Saison du Buff in a few ways, though this is much better.
3.5 M: Lighter body. Higher level, somewhat spritzy carbonation. Smooth enough.
3.0 D: I’m not a huge fan of this because of the big herbalness and the plastic thing. I think I’m particularly sensitive to these flavors. In any case, this isn’t bad, but far from my saison of choice.
