COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Four is truly a light yet flavorful beer. The recipe uses a good portion of wheat and incorporates a sour mash into the process to make it slightly tart and extra refreshing. It has delicate aromas and flavors that span a range of floral, grassy and herbal notes. The finish is extra dry and makes the beer a great beverage to pair with food, especially various cheeses and shellfish.
Malts: organic pale, organic wheat, organic munich
Unmalted: rolled wheat
Hops: hallertauer mittelfrüh

Wheat yellow with large foamy white head. Not much aroma. Light and fruity tasting, almost like a white wine. Sweet and refreshing.

uckelman (813) - Durham, ENGLAND - DEC 29, 2015
Pours golden, slightly hazy. Huge, huge foamy, pillowy tan head. Not loads of aroma, a bit of grass. Sweet, with some notes of grape soda. Finish is not actually all that dry, contra the deScription. Surprisingly warming for being only 4.5%.

Lots of straw and not a lot of much else. Hazy yellow pour with ok head. Light crisp finish. Papery. Tap at Drake.

BigBeer45 (1553) - Michigan, USA - DEC 21, 2015
Sampled from a bottle, this ale had a hazy straw yellow pour and gave a fluffy, white, lasting cover, there was ample carbonation, streams of carbonation everywhere, it left nice rings and spots of lacing on the glass, the aromas were floral hops that had a touch of spice and citrus, light citrus fruit that resembled lemon, light malt with some bread, little to no funk, a little yeast and powder sugar sweetness, it had flavors of light citrus hops and malt, a little lemon fruit, and a little sweetness, the finish had a light hop bitterness and citrus bite that left the mouth a bit dry, the mouth feel was light and creamy, and there was lively carbonation, this beer had a very nice presentation, the nose and flavor were dim, it was light on the tongue and gave some dryness, I let the glass warm up hoping the nose would get better but there was not a lot here, a disappointing drink, not much fruitiness and hardly any funk, I expected more.

Pours golden yellow, a bit pale with a 1 finger sized head Smells straight up lemonade, lots of rose pedals, and wheat. Taste is really light and floral, a touch of tropical hops, a hint of cloves, lots of yeast, and a touch of lemon. It is highly carbonated and light. Overall it is an easy drinking saison. What it should be.

With Z, pours a semi clear light golden color with a large white pillowy head. Nose is yeast with spices, namely cloves and coriander. Taste is light with mild spice, and wheat. Drinks rather easily. Finish is dry and abrupt and ends on the same tasting notes. A very light but refreshing saison . Quaff Score 7 / 10
