Draft. Hazy straw, no head. Yeast and floral hop nose. Oily palate dominates the flavor and unending finish. Medium bitter flavor, grassy and green. Light body, heavy carbonation, yeasty sticky texture, then the hop oils come on in folds. 3fourths (9345) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 29, 2011
draft. mostly clear yellow body with a thin, foamy white head. mild nose presents stewed pale malt (somewhat twangy) with creamy belgian yeast (soap esters, lightly musty) and green, raw wet hops. prickly acid and carbonation, effervescent and lightly phenolic. slick and oily texture, medium-light body. quiet and balanced with lingering bitterness after the acid and carbonation wash the tongue and palate. lightly floral and green. enjoyable stuff. Tap at Bier Stein. Straw yellow pour with an inch of white head and almost no lacing. Belgian yeast dominates the senses with some hetbal and bread, pine and grassy notes. Interesting and tasty fresh hop brew. boFNjackson (4201) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 15, 2011
Tap @ Upright’s Tasting Room... Poured a vibrant yellow with a thin head. A nice mixture of hoppy bitterness and Belgian yeast complexity. Bready malts, earthy, herbal, grassy, and hoppy with a touch of sweetness. Very much a unique fresh hop offering from the dominant IPA/IIPA’s that are often available during this season.
