Tap at Upright. Cloudy golden pour with a little bit of white lacing. Smells of wheat and some spicy yeast, quite pleasing to the nostrils. Tastes of American wheat with some spice and a little hint of citrus hops. This is their 4 made with American wheat yeast, which I assume is the strain that Widmer uses. Definitely one of the best beers I’ve had made with that yeast strain. leems (406) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 26, 2011
Tap. Pours out a hazy golden with a decen clean white fluffy head. Aroma is slightly spicy yeast and wheat. Flavor is citrus yeast and wheat. Nice thick almost milk shake like mouth feel. Very drinkable and one of the best beers I’ve had using American wheat yeast.
