as Upright’s American Pale Ale w/Columbus, Chinook & Cascade Hops
Hazy golden color with creamy head. The malt profile is lean, off-dry, clean, a bit biscuity. Correct bitterness, but the hop qualities are not bright, and it ends with some chicory.
Not the best Pale Ale around, although nothing’s wrong with it.
Tap @ Grain & Gristle... Poured hazy, pale with a easy forming, frothy white head. Upright hit it out of the park with this. Border-line IPA level with a big, dank, earthy and pine-like hop notes all over the palace. Mouthfeel was mild and unobtrusive. Some citrus notes too especially before the finish. I could definitely through back a few pints of this. douglas88 (9188) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 14, 2013
On tap. Pours a somewhat cloudy copper color with a large white head. Big fruity nose with some earthy malt. The flavor is robust fruity hops, orange peel, lemon, some low bitterness, earthy, caramel. Very good. Big flavors, very smooth. mcberko (17840) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 11, 2013
On tap at Upright, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of light piney hops, classic Upright farmhouse notes and crackery malt. Flavour brings out similar notes, with crisp grassy hops, some farmhouse notes, and crackery malt. Finishes with a nice bite and astringency from the hops. Great pale ale.
