On tap at Hop & Vine at Zwanze Day 2012, pours a cloudy opaque golden orange with a small white head. Aroma of light bretty notes, a little sulphur, some crackers and odd spicy notes. Flavour brings out moderate brett, some moderate barrel aged tartness and some funk. Moderate funk and tartness and relatively low brett presence. Decent stuff, but flawed. Given the ratings, I wonder if there was a problem with this keg.

A: The beer pours a cloudy orange color with a rather tall white head. S: A really intense fruit aroma to this beer which is just fantastic. Lots of apples, peaches, and pears with some white grape notes to it as well. Mild oak and tartness with just a little bit of lemon peel and sweet bread. T: More big fruit character on the palate. The peach flavor is really outstanding with a bit of grape, apple, pear, and lemon zest. A touch of grass and damp oak, a light malt sweetness, and some subtle tartness. M: Medium bodied with a medium carbonation. O: An absolutely awesome beer. Great complexity and flavor. Very much enjoyed this one.

Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry lightly tart finish. Flavors of straw, coconut, citrus and oak with a smooth dry lingering funky finish.
