Nice dry tart, sour, mouth-puckering beer here. Super light and effervescent. Medium to mild funk. Nice light fruit flavor. boFNjackson (4230) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 3, 2012
Tap @ Upright... This was far better than the regular Lactovasilios. This version a blend of barrels that once held Fantasia and Sole Comp Barrel Aged 5. A bit sharper and slightly more acidic. Vinous wine like tones with citrus and lactic acid. Refreshing and much cleaner than the straight Pinot aged version. A significant increase in quality. radarsock (1223) - Massachusetts, USA - APR 7, 2013
Shared with Shawn at his flat. Thanks, man. Pours a golden metallic with a trimmed whitish ring. Aromas of buckwheat, barnyard, cucumber, biscuits, and apricots. Tastes of everything described, with the addition of cotton, Greek yoghurt, ginger syrup, and Saltine crackers by swallow. Buttery.
Quite good. WheatKing (1338) - Phnom Penh, CAMBODIA - SEP 24, 2014
On tap at the Drake Eatery, Victoria. Light amber, white head. Nose is blue cheese, tropical fruit. Flavour is that great sharp fruity hop sensation followed by dryness you get in the style. Peachy. Had it with a Taiwanese exchange student and it was the only one of the night they liked. Pailhead (6543) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - OCT 4, 2014

Bottle: The aroma consists of light citrus with a touch of fruit and must. It pours a transparent golden-orange with a small white head that quickly fades to a thin ring around the edges of the glass. The flavor starts with a quick dose of citrus. There is a hint of fruit in the middle. The finish light lemon, funk, and a touch of must. It’s light bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, super refreshing and drinkable. Too bad I’ll never see it again.
Bottle: 33/151. Semi-clear, golden body with a foamy, eggshell cap topping it off, quickly receding to a chunky collar. Aroma comprised of faint musty blanket, overripe peach skins, a bit of soured wheat, light oaky tannins, some moderate lactic notes & a good amount of tart stone fruits finishing things off. You get a big woody & oaky flavor right out of the gate, but it’s largely mellow & not astringent or harsh at all. Lots of lactic tartness, grainy & soured wheat, mineral notes, lemon flesh, stone fruits, & a bit of barnyard, cottony must towards the finish with a lingering bit of wild bacteria sourness, dryness, & funk. Crisp, refreshing, & dry. Overall, this makes for a very unique "Berliner". Extremely crushable, easy drinking, & flavorful. Too bad my homebrews have higher bottle counts. Bottle shared at RBSG. The beer is a hazy yellow with a white head of foam. The aroma has notes of straw, stone fruit, and juicy peach. Some grassy notes as well. Fairly sour. Medium body and medium to high carbonation. Nice stuff. SrSilliGose (3332) - pouring bus, New Brunswick, CANADA - APR 6, 2013
