Aroma is fruity with a since stone fruit skin and a light, white wine grape note. Some light pinot and faint oak character. Some light orange citrus character and a touch of a light malt character. Pours a slightly cloudy golden orange with a moderately sized, moderately thick white head. Moderate lacing and faint legs. Flavor has a nice light graininess with some light stone fruit notes along with medium light citrus and tropical fruit. Light peppery phenolics and some nice oak notes with hints of the pinot. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, another really nice saison from Upright. Not as much Brett as in the Seven with Brett but a more complex wine character. Really nice fruit character in the aroma. mathieuc (4000) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 13, 2013
Pours a hazy golden with a thin white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is downright winey with pinot being the obvious culprit. There are also some dusty and tropical notes from the brett. Not over the top sour but still really tart. Not sure of my notes here but there is again (just like the Five) a weird sweetness, fresh wort-like. Not really distracting, just weird. All in all I enjoyed this one but it wasn’t a favorite. Minderbinder (3469) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 13, 2013
Pours orange with low white head. Good lacing. Aroma is of fruits, oak, rustic stuff, bretts, Pinot. Taste is of bretts, fruits, rusticity. Palate: Medium body. Overall: Fruity. Very nice yeast action. Oak is in good proportion. czar (9430) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 12, 2013

Bottle (750 ml). Shared by hoppypocket, thanks! Hazy golden with a medium white head and good lacing. Aroma is winey with fruity brettanomyces, light funk, light yeast spices and hints of oak... lovely! Taste is slightly sweet with fruity brettanomyces, winey notes, interesting sourness, yeast, light malt, oak and dusty notes. Medium body. Dry and winey. Low to moderate carbonation. Complex Sour Ale with a superb balance. Not overdone. I love this pinot noir treatment. It’s my favorite declension of the Seven. Superb! Dpaquet (422) - Trois-rivieres, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 12, 2013
Pour is hazy golden with white head and nice lacing. Aroma of brett, vinous, oak, light white fruits. Taste has brett, peaches, oak, funk, light honey. Low-med body and soft carb. Very good! hopdog (13102) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 5, 2013
Bottle. # 68 / 124. Poured a hazy golden color with a small sized head. Wood, vinous, grapes, some yeastiness, vanilla, and some fruitiness. Lighter funkiness. Damico (3150) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 4, 2013
Pours orange with a yellow hue and decent white head. Aroma brings crisp citrus and wild yeast blended well. Flavor is quite similar, nice wild yeast dominating with some grapes from the barrels. Carbonation is there, right on just not too bubbly. pantanap (3367) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 4, 2013
750ml bottle again thanks to Todd. 95 of 124... Pours a paler golden orange hue and topped with a soapy white head.. Earthy semi-sour smartie sour presence. Stone fruit, mild cherryt. Pretty good.. Flavors are more if the same... Semi-lively earthy sweet tart and stone fruit. Earthy base and consistency with adequate carbonation.
