Thanks much to hannont for sharing this at the Portland bottle share - Pours clear golden yellow with a white head. The aroma has heavy floral aspects with the rose and chrysanthemum really showing through and it is fairly dry with the Belgian yeast. It has a smooth medium body with soft carbonation. The flavor begins with soft fruit, pale malt, peaches, red fruit and herbal / floral notes. The finis has smooth caramel added to the mix. Really tasty. ineedbeer (2297) - Oakland, California, USA - NOV 3, 2014
Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is rather floral with a lot of yarrow and light rose notes. Some herbal notes and light phenolics with a touch of citrus. Light wine notes and oak tannins. Smells like Grandma. Pours a clear yellow gold with a thick white head that exhibits good retention as it recedes to a thin film. Medium light lacing and small legs. Flavor has a strong floral note with a lot of yarrow, rose and other floral notes. Light citrus character with a bit of tropical fruit. Moderate bitterness with some light red wine character and medium light oak tannins. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.Overall, an alright beer but its a bit thin and the floral note is rather strong and a bit overpowering. Not much red wine or yeast character to balance out the flowers. Pailhead (6543) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - AUG 16, 2013
Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate sour lemon, white wine, citrus, and a touch of pine. It pours a hazy dull yellow with a small white head. The flavor starts with a quick dose of orange and lemon. The finish has lemon peel, brett, light white wine notes, and a touch of sweet tarts. It’s light bodied with somewhat lively carbonation.

750ml bottle. Thanks to Todd.... Bottle 45 of 110. Entering under Pinot but clearly gin barrel it seems... Pours a pale semi-hazy yellow orange and topped with a thin creamy white head... Aroma of florals and gin botanicals. Slightly yogurty but nice and spiced more in the botanical side. Grows on you... Flavors are more of the same with somewhat watered down floral and gin botanicals. Slight mellow tartness with more gin on be backend lightly watered down with soft carbonation. UPDATED: APR 28, 2013 hazy gold, wispy large bubbled white head and ring. Awesome nose, gin spice so awesome, compliments dry grassy profile, floral sweetness plays with Four’s complex grains, ultra integrated, so DECEPTIVELY complex. Flavor is equally bright, gin kicking ass with light juniper brightness behind the citrus front, herbaceous, grainy mid finishing leafy yet rounded. Small bubbled carbonation accents qualities. Awesome beer.
