Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle.
The beer pours a yellow color with a huge white head. The aroma is full of lemons, with some pale and pilsner malt. There is also some strong yeast notes in the aroma, as well as some white pepper.
The flavor is malt forward with a lot of biscuit notes. I also get a little bit of lemon and pepper, as well as some yeast. The beer is very dry and the alcohol is well hidden.
Medium mouthfeel and medium to high carbonation. thirdeye11 (6162) - Dallas, Texas, USA - SEP 15, 2011
(750ml bottle thanks to bu11zeye) cloudy pale yellow with a rocky huge meringue-like white head. Nose of grass, pineapple, floral, and lemon zest. Smells so good and clean! Taste of clean grain bill, lemon, very subtle earth, extremely smooth and easy to drink. Excellent lager! I’d drink it all day if it was in cans. brokensail (16645) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 7, 2011
A: The beer pours a pale, hazy straw color with a huge white head.
S: A weird, but not awful, aroma that is just full of apples. There is a lot of yeast and some cracker malts as well as a light pepper note. Some light grassy and floral hops, too.
T: The beer is lightly sweet with plenty of more of that green apple character. In addition to the apples, there are some other light fruits such as pears. Really weird esters on this beer... A touch more sweetness from some bread and cracker malts.
M: This beer is medium bodied with a very high level of carbonation.
O: While this is apparently a lager, the yeast profile was more in line with a lot of their saisons. A strange beer... chibuck (3521) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 11, 2011
Pours a light grainy gold, tons of carbonation, not a gusher but beware when you pour, bright creamy white head, good lacing... the nose reminds me of a saison, lager yeast, citrus, lemons, and hay, pretty outstanding... the taste is more saison notes, yeast, lemons, with a musky light sour finish... this is a great sessionable beer JCB (3999) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - MAY 27, 2011
750ml from Northwest Liquid Gold. Label is *just* short of being really cool, but kudos for the effort. Very pale pour, with a big rocky cone of a head. Nose is soft and fairly understated, with ripe yeast, rind, and a hint of herbal bitterness. Full carbonation makes the body almost a bit too lively, but it was nice. Flavors were still just a bit muted, making this a not quite imperialized lager that’s very heavy on the lemon zest. Works for me.

Bottle a nicely hopped lager. 750 shared by Derek i believe. Pours a pale hazy golden body with a large white head and fantastic head retention. Aromatically nice citrus toned hops, light apple like fruit bitterness, a hint of dry grass and a nice bread y and clean body. A nice strong lager beer. Pours a pale yellow with a monstrous white head. Nose held citrus and lemon grass along with some cereal grains. A little less carbonation would have been nice..... bu11zeye (13215) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - MAY 2, 2011
(750ml bottle) Pours a lightly hazy yellow with a rocky white head. Aroma of florals, grass, white pepper, and light orange. Flavor of florals, grass, earth, and lemon with a dry, bitter finish. emacgee (4705) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - APR 28, 2011
Pours a bright cloudy lemon rind yellow with one of the most stable head formations I’ve ever seen. Billowing white head. Nose is interesting, almost tart, lemongrass and a light bready sweetness. Spicy zesty flavor with notes of citrus rind, white pepper, and bread dough. Crisp palate with a a light body. TURDFERGUSON (4068) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - APR 27, 2011
Bottle from 5000. Thanks Andre! Great premium lager, without a doubt the best I have ever had. Lots of lemon, some honey, herbal and spicy hops. This beer had amazing retention. I would play Edward 40 Hands with this.
