Darker golden pour. Aroma light biscuit and bread, slightly sweet and floral. Flavor is smooth, as is the body, Light cereal grain and just a hint of bitterness. Well done. ericdevin (988) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - OCT 19, 2013
Draft at Upright, Portland. Pours a rich golden color, moderate amount of head. Aroma is sweet, fruity, biscuity. Body is malty, lively and dry. Very light and easy drinking, what you want. 3fourths (9358) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUL 8, 2013
Draft at the brewery. Lightly hazed amber with a fine white head. Stewed vienna malt toasted cereal aroma with noticeable cooked corn kernels and light lettuce and celery (vegetable barley soup smell). Medium bodied approach with a watery finish; low bitterness; medium sweetness; medium acid; chalky and sour yeast. Noticeable saccharine twang and lingering DMS carrot and turnip flavor in the finish. Very messy and unpalatable, though it really does look beautiful.
