White Riot. WIth new world hops and a handful of orange zest, it’s not a pure IPA and not a pure wheat beer - it’s a bold riot of a beer on its own. Available at 5.3% on keg and, later in the year, 5.5% in 330ml bottles.

Bottle from Waitrose.
Appearance - bright yellow with a big generous head. Frantic bubbles.
Nose - creamy orange with a yoghurt tang at the back.
Taste - more of the orange and cream really. Like an orange mousse really.
Palate - light bodied and creamy. Dry through the middle.
Overall - got elements of Witbier going on. Decent if a touch one dimensional.

330mL bottle BBE: 14.01.19. Cool room temp. approx. 16 degrees. Served in a goblet. Pours an amber-bronze body with light haze and large-medium, fairly loose, frothy off-white head. On the nose, citrus, sticky grapefruit and a touch of resin. Malty, medium intensity and fresh. Medium sweetness and high bitterness to taste. Hop driven. Medium-full bodied with a sticky texture. High carbonation with a bright, citrussy finish. Some roasted character (coffee/cocoa). Massively hop-forward, not allowing the style to come through. Enjoyable nonetheless.

Keg at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. Deep hazy gold with a middling white head. Lots of peach, orange and mango with a touch of pine. Like the tropical stuff, not sure the conifers go well with it. More pine in the mildly bitter finish. Still reasonably decent stuff though, even if I did go off it by the end.

Bottle. Bronze with sediment floating around which was a bit off-putting.Slightly fruity. Different and quite pleasant but nothing outstanding.

Hazy golden colour. Can definitely taste the orange zest. Rather refreshing.

The Flying Horse, Gatwick Airport. Keg. Thin foam, pale and dull gold. Cool and snappy. Honey and spice. Served very cold. A little bitter rises, but it is fairly smooth. English fruity yeast note. Fair.

Great with a cheese toastie. Appearance might be off putting to some but the flavour is fine. Djisidjdjdisjdjdjdjdjdjdjdjxjxjdj ---Ra via Beer Buddy for iPhone
