Welcome the newest addition to our year round lineup–Upslope Imperial India Pale Ale. Packaged exclusively in Ball Corporation’s 19.2 oz Royal Pint can, this assertively hopped 10% ABV Imperial IPA captures a bright orange color with a medium body. Strong hop and piney nose. Pours a light amber and finishes really smooth for an Imperial IPA.

12 oz. can at a wedding at Los Poblanos Historic Farm in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Pours an almost hazy gold with an orange hue, not quite NEIPA haze but murkier than expected, with a small eggshell white head that settles into a ring. Notes of pine, grapefruit, sweet and toasted malts, residual sugars, and muddled fruits like pineapple and melon. There's a faint, faint hint of oxidation. Older can? I couldn't tell. Medium-bodied, with soft carbonation and a bitter, sweet, almost creamy mouthfeel. I'd be interested to try this again, hopefully super fresh.

Can. Pours slightly hazy golden, medium off-white head, dissipates fairly slowly, good lacing. Aroma is pine, grapefruit, slightly dank, more pine. Flavor is medium sweet, light plus bitter. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Pretty middle of the fairway IIPA with an above average mouthfeel.

ABUSEDGOAT (2791) - California, USA - JUN 26, 2017
Amber color with a white head. Aroma is grapefruit, citrus, caramel, light tropical fruit. Medium bodied, moderate bitterness, alcohol hidden well. Doesn’t come off as a Pacific Rim IIPA.

Can (19oz) Lots of hops here. Aroma was strong and fruity. Taste too. Lots of tropical fruits, but also grassy and piney. Nice. Very strong.

Very hazy orange with a chunky white head. The aroma has some strong pungent resin, with some pineapple, passion fruit, and orange notes. The flavor is very sweet upfront, with a oily body that eventually gets bitter and carries a sweet and boozy alcohol presence. Reminds me of DFH 120 minute a little. Does not have "drinkability". Pretty unique, but not exactly my cup o tea.

Can at home. Cloudy amber coloured with a huge white head. Fruity aroma of hops, caramel, cookies and pine needles. Fruity flavour of hops and pine needles with notes of caramel and grapefruits. Dry hoppy finish.

At Ratebeer Best. Pours cloudy gold with no head and a citrus aroma. There is a hearty pale malt flavor with a very bitter finish.

Stove pipe can from tavour. Pours a honey, mead looking light Amber color. Tastes a nice bold hop flavor with quite a lot of sugar sweet flavors. Nice!

3.4
Panzuriel (2324) - Westerville, Ohio, USA - DEC 31, 2016
Appearance: Bright medium honey. Nearly clear. Finger of white foam. Nose: Definite, but not overpowering hop forward. Citrus, tropical, pine. Hints of sweetness Taste: pineapple, mango, pine and grapefruit balanced with good clover honey sweetness. Good hop presence. Not overpowering Body: Medium to a bit fuller. Good carbonation Parting thoughts: A very solid, above average IIPA. Good balance. Nothing overpowering. Just very solid.
