(Draught) Pours a clear yellow body with a medium white head. Aroma of citrus, rye, grapefruit, and caramel. Flavor of pineapple, citrus, pine, and earthiness.

Pours a clear medium gold with plenty of foam but seeing as I am drinking it at Old Chicago and they use a nitro mix for the beers, that may or may not be typical. Plenty of citrus in the smell, mostly grapefruit. Doesn’t smell all that spicy. Tastes reflects the smell. Grapefruit bitterness, minimal rye spice and malt. Very nice mouthfeel. Good brew.

I really liked this Rye IPA. It wasn’t overly bitter, nice and smooth with almost a sweetness on the palate. Very well balanced.

On tap at Hops and Pie poured a clear golden amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of rye, earthiness and pine. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of rye, earthiness and light pine with a smooth dry bitter lingering rye finish.

Pour on tap at Avery IPA fest, clear orange pour with white head, aroma is soapy, slightly spice, hints of rye but muted, some slightly sweet orange, caramel in there, hints of earth. Taste is a mix of sweet orange, caramel, very slight rye, touch of biscuit, spice, yeast notes, watery finish, not much bitterness.

Steve_0 (3818) - Denver, Colorado, USA - SEP 9, 2012
On tap at the Inaugural Boulder IPA Fest. Pour is golden orange with a huge two-finger white head. Faint aroma with light touches of soap, flowers, and spice. Taste is very simple and straight-forward lightly tart, soapy, and bready with a light citrus, bitter finish. Thin body with soft carbonation. Meh.

draft. sparkling gold body with an off-white head. rye and barley in the nose gives it a corn syrup note; hope are snappy and bright with medium pungency and light spice. slick, oily, waxy mouthfeel, which I get in nearly all Upslope products. sweeter than I like (big surprise), mostly clean and straightforward.

cubs (10718) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - APR 28, 2012
Tap @ Tap n Handle. Dark golden appearance with a white head. A bit spicy, grapefruity citrusy hoppy, rye aroma. Spicy rye, orange, grapefruit citrusy, spicy flavor. Pretty nice.

Pint on tap, crushed at Lyons Fork. Pours a yellowish orange with a fluffy head that sticks around a minute. Kinda hoppy, pretty sweet grain aroma. Flavor of cereal grain, slight hops, and and malty sweetness. Aight.
