Draft at Upstream. Filtered orange-brown. Watery, thin, sort of your 1990 homebrew. Doughy, some amber malt pungency. Overall just a little too insipid to hold my interests. TomDecapolis (4618) - Milton, Delaware, USA - APR 15, 2013
Pours a lightly hazy deep amber with a medium bubbly off white head. Aroma of diacetyl, toffee and nuts. Flavor of the same. edgallow (4377) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - AUG 1, 2015
Draft sampler pours Amber with a white head. Aroma and taste is malts and caramel. BelgianBeerGal (4140) - Panama City, Florida, USA - OCT 11, 2010
Draught at the brewpub. Nice red-brown pour with a tan head and nice lacing. Dusty, malty aroma. Pleasant dry, roasted malt palate. Very well crafted. SledgeJr (3577) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JUN 21, 2010
From the growler, thanks to Mike Hall. Same name, but definitely not the same beer as the former Upstream Firehouse Red. This has a wonderful toasted almond aroma. The flavor has a mild caramel toffee taste in a very light bodied beer. Nice quick and drying finish. A definite improvement from the previous namesake.

Ruby red pour and thin beige head. Sweet aroma is mainly toffee and toasted bread. Hazelnut, caramel, sweet grains and dry toffee in the taste. Better than expected mouthfeel, with a rich and creamy palate. Light citrus hop finish. A pretty tasty beer User37895 (3042) - - AUG 4, 2014
On draft with a red pour and a white colored head and decent lacing. Aroma of floral hops and bready grains. Flavor of bready grains, some floral and piney hops. Mouthfeel is moderately to heavily carbonated and it finishes quite dry. Rated as a red lager and nothing Vienna like. A nice full flavored but lightly drinking lager. Would put it in my fridge for an every day brew as an alternate to the regular IPA. Nice one. bpreo (2903) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - JUL 5, 2011
A lot better than I expected, since I am not typically a fan of Vienna’s. Surprised me, I guess. troyc (2869) - Illinois, USA - JUL 23, 2011

A- Sweet candy.
A- Copper color, clear liquid, minimal head.
T- Sweet, malty.
P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, watery finish.
O- A nice sweetness that’s almost candy like, but otherwise not a lot going on. Decent though.
