Tap @ Upstream. Pours a cloudy, light yellow appearance with a white head. Yeasty, somewhat spicy, light orange citrusy aroma. Fairly light bodied. Kind of a weak, light wheat flavor with some spicy yeast and light citrus. Not much going on. csaso (2328) - Missouri, USA - OCT 5, 2011

(draft 7/30/10). Cloudy yellow color. Medium white head. Moderate clove and yeast aroma. Same flavor with spicy yeast character. Avg duration. Light astringent finish. Slick texture. Moderate carbonation. Good lacing. troyc (2869) - Illinois, USA - JUL 23, 2011
[Tap] Pours a very light yellow color with about a half inch of foamy head. Sweet wheat malts, coriander and citrus in the nose. Yeasty esters mingle with dry wheat grains in the taste. Mild clove, coriander and orange zest. The finish was a bit grassy. Average mouthfeel and palate. A decent brew for the style.

Really great Belgian White, puts Blue Moon to shame. And you don’t even need an orange peel. bu11zeye (13140) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JUL 7, 2010
(Draught) Pours an opaque orange juice like body with a small white head. Aroma of orange, light coriander, and wheat. Flavor of orange juice, lemon, coriander, and pepper with a moderately bitter finish. Like a blend of half orange juice and half witbier.

A terrific beer, provided for beer judging class by its author, mike hall. Medium to dark gold. Lovely combination and balance of flavors and aromas. Bernie guessed rose hips as the special ingredient, and was not corrected. Nose is sweet orange, vanilla, and lilac. Taste is everything from the aroma, plus allspice and coriander. The beers at Upstream are so good these days!!! A wit beer for all people. SledgeJr (3577) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JUN 30, 2010
In growler, thanks to Mike Hall. Nose is citrus, coriander, and honey. Taste is of allspice, vanilla, and orange. Last year’s recipe had lemon grass as the secret ingredient; it has been replaced by a new secret element. Hazy gold, slightly darker than most wits. heemer77 (5360) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - APR 26, 2009
Tap at the brewpub. The body was cloudy dark gold with a long lasting white head. The aroma was strong with the expected orange peels and coriander spice. The taste was bitter orange peels and spicy coriander. There was a decent overall bite that lovers of the style would appreciate. Fruity and spicy, this was well done for the style.
