It poured an amber/orange color with a small white head. The aroma was of fruitiness and some sweet maltiness. The taste was similar, with fruitiness and some sweet malt. A little on the bitter side but nonetheless, very good. Tmoney99 (14492) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 9, 2011
Draft sample. Poured clear copper color with an average white frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate earthy and citrus hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Better drinkable brew

UPDATED: OCT 21, 2011 draft... this is an orange peel bomb, really good but be prepared for that, very good Terminus (3683) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - AUG 27, 2011
tap at brewpub-pours dark orange with a small soapy white head. nose is lite hops somewhat sweet malt and lite watery notes. lite body however make this a decent session brew. some pine and leafy notes on the finish. nothing too complex to write about here. I guess this beer was very good when it was fresh but the hops seem to be a bit muddled and not very punchy. phaleslu (10267) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 23, 2011
Draft served in a tall stemmed glass at UCBC. Pours a clear gold color with a finger-thick eggshell white head that laces the glass. Aroma of grassy and piney hops, pale malts, apricot, citrus, and melon. Flavor of more of the same citrusy and tropical fruits as the aroma, then grassy, spicy, and herbal hops, and sweet and pale malts. Light-medium bodied, with an earthy, fruity mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Pretty nice IPA to showcase a new hop.

Pour amber/orange with a sudsy off-white head. The aroma has some fruitiness and mild toasty malt off the bat then there is some piny / spicy hops along with some mild citrus and earthiness. Medium / light crisp body with mild carbonation. The flavor starts with nectarine / peach/ pear fruitiness, some toast, spicy hoppiness and mild orange citrus. The finish has spicy and grassy hoppiness along with funky fruit and its a bit of sweetness that seems odd for an IPA. This is a good beer, but doesn’t strike me as a full fledged IPA. kwoeltje (2233) - Manchester, Missouri, USA - AUG 6, 2011
(Draught at brewpub) amber with white head and great lace. Aroma of tangerine, light damp earth. Flavor is tangerine, a hint of damp earth, and slightly sweet malt. Moderate bitterness. Interesting IPA.
