On draft at the brewery. Pours slightly opaque golden. Moderately carbonated but enough to give it body. Spicy and robust palate, wheaty, citrus aftertaste. Really unique beer - great blend between Belgian and bock. hayduke (5731) - Eureka, California, USA - APR 23, 2016

Tap tap house. Cloudy grey yellow, offwhite foam. Lime aroma, peach Melba. Sweet fruity base, fermented pears, apples, orange peel, banana - cleaner than many other pale wheatbocks. Mellow full body. Ultimately quite pleasant to drink. Terminus (3739) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - DEC 10, 2015
Pours hazy light oraneg hue with a small soapy white head and sparse lacing. Nose is phoenolic banana, clove, sweet malt/yeast, cream, pale grains, Flavors really show the big phenolic banana, bright citrus, peach, pears, and some grainy notes. very yeasty on the finish. finish has lingering sweetness and peaches. Solid offering albeit a tad on the sweet side.

Draught Good stable head over hazy UFO-laden yellow-ochre beer. Rosewater, grapey hops, bit of spice. Again USA hops determinating the Weizenbock. Still, some banana and pineapple. Light(er) bodied for a Weizenbock, bit drier aftertaste, quite slick. Strange;.. more a USA wheat ale to me. Bif (2390) - St. Charles, Missouri, USA - JUN 14, 2015
500ml bottle. Pours a hazy light straw color with a foamy head that fades. Aroma of wheat, yeast, banana, clove with bit of fruit and spice in the background. Taste of wheat, yeast, bit of yeast and light fruit with bit of malt sweetness. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Moderate body, smooth with a refreshing feel. Not hint of the 8.3% ABV. Enjoyable beer for a local brewer. DiarmaidBHK (6137) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 24, 2015
Draft at Bailey’s Range. Pours yellow and cloudy with a white head. Doesn’t leave any lacing. Floral hop notes on the nose that have a bit of perfume to them. Nice floral essence on the tongue. Finishes clean. I’m not sure if it’s a doppleback but whatever it is it’s nice. TH28 (488) - - APR 11, 2015
16oz bottle. No code date. Appearance: pale golden and cloudy with moderate white foam cap.
Aroma: Heavy clove notes, but less banana than typical weizen yeast.
Taste: Rich maltiness with clove spice and soft breadiness. Yeast flavor a bit subdued, and a slight medicinal bite on the back end.
Mouthfeel: Light to moderate body for style, with moderate-high carbonation.
Finish: Bready with clove spice on the finish. A bit of harsh alcohol.
Overall: An average weizenbock. A bit harsh on the finish doesn’t leave it as clean as Aventinus or Vitus, but there are worse examples. EtTuCthulhu (1391) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - MAR 31, 2015
The beer pours a hazy golden color (due to the yeast) with a large white head that fades somewhat slowly. The aroma blends wheat, white pepper, and hints of banana, and the taste is slightly sweet, mildly umami, and a touch sour with an aftertaste that is full of wheat with banana and boozy undercurrents lingering. The palate has a slick texture, medium body, and a soft carbonation.
