As "Aramis" only.
Hazy straw yellow color, whtie head. Malty, sweet scent. Malty, herbal taste. Herbal aftertaste. Fizzy mouthfeel, medium bitterness-
Draft at the Grove brewery. Just called "Aramis" on the menu. Pours a completely clear bright gold on the paler side of the spectrum with a small bone white head. Notes of straw, lemon and mandarin citrus, grass, bread, faint spice, herbs, crackers, and some fresh farmhouse-style funk. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a clean mouthfeel. Refreshing and nice. Didn’t quite stand up to the Stammtisch I had next to it, but still very nice. arminjewell (9745) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - DEC 13, 2014
Pour on tap at Twenty Tap, hazy golden pour with lacing white head, aroma brought notes of cracker, biscuit, bread, creamy malty notes into some slight spice, floral notes. Taste is creamy malt, young mash, some cracker, biscuit, bread, finishing fairly dry, spicy, crackery. Nice. b3shine (9412) - Indiana, USA - DEC 13, 2014
Draft to pint at Twenty Tap. Looks good; a slightly hazy gold with white head. Smells of a nice balance of pilsner malt, lager yeast, and mild hops. Tastes like it smells with a mild but pleasant pilsner snappiness. Some biscuit. A good example of the style.

Sampled during CBC 2013. Golden pour with a small off-white head. Nice aroma, doughy pils malts, spicy hops, a touch of citrus. Even better flavor, doughy malts, crisp, citrus, light pepper, refreshing and delicious. One of the highlights of CBC. Strykzone (7889) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - AUG 10, 2013
Pint at Tony’s in Alton. This arrived golden and very hazy. A fluffy white head. Aromas of citrus hops. Citrus in the flavor, too. Rye spice, light malts, pepper, and a little lemon. This was interesting and I hope to have the other Hop Switch beers. A tasty Pilsener. JStax (7453) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - APR 22, 2014
Draft pour at the source under the name of "Aramis". Pours a clear gold with a white head of foam. The aroma is grainy and bready. Clean sweetness. Light body and medium carbonation. vyvvy (6991) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - APR 12, 2013
For quite a while I wished there were more STL places that brewed a good pils. Now UBCB seems to pop out more pilsners than any other beer style. Such a cool thing. This one pours hazy yellow / gold with a large dense white head. The aroma has clean light doughy pils malt that Urban Chestnut does so well. The hops have light spice, heavy floral notes, ripe apple and a hint of lavender. It’s interesting and not as assertive on the aroma most of the hop switches and is a bit maltier. It has a medium body with some huskiness and fairly soft carbonation. The flavor starts with an interesting hop presence for a pils showcasing floral aspects, lemon and heavy pepper spice and some pils malt hiding in the back. The finish is very peppery and crisp. As it warms some sulfur is noticeable and it becomes more of an assertive hoppiness. Not your normal pils, but quite nice. edgallow (4749) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - MAY 25, 2014
Draft sampler pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, floral and grass. Taste is malt, grass and dough.
