Beautiful copper colour. My favorite IPA so far. Usually prefer wheat beers and belgians - this corrects my aversion to IPAs due to many being hopped for the sole purpose of raising IBUs. Wonderful combination of malt and measured bitterness. Absolutely wonderful.
Keg at the Midtown location, 12/17/16. Hazy yellow, large creamy white head, good retention. Aroma of bready malt and floral hops. The taste is bready malt, herbal and Noble hops. Medium bodied, crisp. nimbleprop (8382) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - JUN 25, 2016
Sampled at EatBar DC, pours a hazy yellow with some lacing, white head. Nose has grass, lemon, some light malt. Flavor follows, a little green hop, lemon, some malt, some grass. Dry, crisp finish. Decent enough. CanIHave4Beers (4187) - Pouring Bus, Iowa, USA - DEC 26, 2015
Hey hey hey, we’ve got another RBSG 2014 rating I dug up out of the old book Francis gave me!edgallow (4211) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUL 17, 2015
Pours a very hazy yellow with some head and some light lacing on the glass.
The aroma is bright and hoppy with a good herbal character and some citrusy hops.
The flavor has some juicy hop character, a big bitterness, and a nice enough herbal character.
Fine enough beer, but maybe not really "my type" of IPA
6 oz draft sampler pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malts, grain and floral. Taste is floral and malts. DiarmaidBHK (4907) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 23, 2015
Draft at taproom. Pours golden with a white head. Nice floral hop note on the nose. Very soft mouthfeel which is unusual for the style. Nice floral notes on the tongue as well. Finishes clean. Flavorful but feels more pale aleish to me.

Had on tap at their place. Pours light yellow with a slight haze. Slightly tart. Some banana. Overall a nice refreshing beer.

Draft to taster. Looks good; a hazy lighter golden orange with white head that steadily dissipats into lacing. Smells of fruity hops; some mango and tangerine. Tastes like it smells, but less robust, with a medium-bodied mouthfeel. A bit of bittersweetness from the malt. Not bad. pivnizub (10621) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - DEC 26, 2014
Euro2-Flasche: Golden, cloudy, big and stable rocky off-white head; spicy Saazy (even though the hops come from the Hallertau) nose, traces of Wood and vanilla and yeast in the Background; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, almost medium bodied, a bit fizzy; dryish lingering Hallertau finish, yeast still detectable. A fine brew... wedgie9 (2702) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 4, 2014
From notes. Tasted on 6/5/13 on draft at the brewpub during a baseball trip with Adam and Taylor. Pours hazy golden orange with an average white head that leaves thin, but sticky lace. The nose is earthy caramel bread with primarily spicy hops underlying. The flavor displays the hops a little more aggressively than I expected given the nose with the same earthy caramel bread. The body is just above light with average carbonation and a medium spicy hops finish. kaserk (55) - wdm, Iowa, USA - NOV 28, 2014
At the urban Chestnut brewery with the fam damily doing a flight. Has a nutty flavor.
