Pours a clear golden orange on tap with fluffy white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma and taste of bray pale malt, mild citrus hop notes, and mild ginger spiciness. Its very solid for what it is.

16 oz can purchased as a single at Royal Liquors 103rd St in Kansas City, Missouri. 05/03/17 stamped on the bottom of the can. The pour is a hazed golden with a well formed white head. Head falls slow with lace. The aroma is floral straw, herbal, rich full and fresh, spicy ginger under that. The taste is the ginger, orange citrus hops and the full floral straw herbal. Interesting flavor combo. The palate is medium bodied with active carbonation and a floral herbal yeast finish. Fun beer.

Can. It poured a golden color with a white head. The aroma was of ginger and hops. The taste was similar to the aroma with more ginger, hops and a slightly bitter aftertaste. Decent.

Can Pours clear bright orange hue with a nice soapy slightly off white head and awesome lacing. great looking brew! Nose is big on the ginger and not much else. Some mild toasted grains/cereal notes come through as it warms a bit. Flavors are big on the ginger, minerals, slightly metallic, pale grains. finish is somewhat short but has a lingering tingle on the tongue from the ginger. Cool veg beer but nothing i would seek out again.

16oz can. 5/3/17 can date. Appearance: Deep golden, slightly hazy, with a frothy thick off white head. The head on this beer lasts throughout the entire drink Aroma: Grainy malt behind an herbal, lightly grassy hop aroma. Hard to pick out much in this mellow aroma Taste: Moderate grainy malt sweetness up front the leads into notes of bitter orange peel and ginger. Grassy, light citrus bitterness builds into a strong dry bitterness on the swallow Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a moderate to high carbonation. Finish: Orange peel and ginger stick around long after the swallow to go along with the dry finish and lingering bitterness. Overall: The aroma starts off underwhelming, but beyond that there’s a nice complexity of citrus peel and ginger against a dry grassy bitterness. Amazing head retention. This wouldn’t make a list of top APAs, but I’d drink it again

16 oz. can. Honey gold with some whiteness. An almost white light and fluffy head. Aroma is fruity and ginger. A lighter flavor. Ginger in front with citrus which is oranges first. A little lemon, some floral, and rice in the aftertaste. Flavor is gentle and this is light fare.

Pours a clear dark golden with a decent antique lace head. Aroma is hop spice and ginger. Taste is sweet pale malt, biscuits, ginger zest and some piney and floral hop bitterness. Refreshing and well balanced, but not my style with the extra additives.

Pour is a clear golden with a massive white head. Aroma is equal parts fresh ginger and hops. Flavor is pretty much all ginger. The hops from the aroma did not stick around in the flavor. It goes down quick with not much else left after the swallow. Kind of a one trick pony with the ginger. The aroma was much better than then flavor.

Tasted at 2017 Heritage Fest in sampler snifter glass, a clear golden colour with sudsy white foam. As you’d expect, a clean German-inspired brew plus earthy/spicy ginger, and lots of it. Light-medium body, clean and refreshing. Not my kind of thing, but good for what it is. If you like ginger in beer, you’ll love this one.

Can - big pillowy head, medium gold color, fair ginger aroma with big ginger flavor that did mellow out as it warmed up a little, not bad overall ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
