Pours a hazy, deep brown color with a small, creamy, lasting beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, cream, and dusty wood- very dry and roasty. Gritty, too. Flavor of roasted malts, chocolate, toasted sugar, nuts, and caramel. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a roasty, dry mouthfeel. Very good dry stout. drfabulous (9015) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - MAR 23, 2012
Draught at Bridge in St Louis. Basically, an Irish Stout. But a bit different as a little bit of Milk Stout is in there. Creamy overall. Nice stout body. RobertDale (7052) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - MAR 27, 2013
On tap at the brewpub. Comes dark brown with a decent tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, and coffee. Taste is roasted malt, dark chocolate, cream, and caramel. Enjoyed it! vyvvy (6955) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - APR 6, 2012
Pours very dark with a crimson hue and tan head. The aroma has very roasty malt, slight char, bit of chalk, dark cocoa and an overall dryness. Very nice for the style. The body is quite light and crisp and a bit rough with a minor amount of carbonation. The flavor starts with very roasty dry malt, dark cocoa and is pretty much like the aroma, but maybe even a bit drier. The finish is a bit husky and dry (of course) along with a good amount of spicy / earthy hops for bitterness. Well done dry stout. DiarmaidBHK (6170) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 23, 2015
Draft at taproom. Pours coca cola brown with a thick khaki head. Leaves some lacing in glass. Big roasted malt notes on the nose. Little thin on the tongue. There’s some solid roasted malt if you look for it. Finished clean. I wish it tasted as bold as it smelled though it’s still a solid example of the style.

It poured a dark red almost black color with a brown head. The aroma was of malt and coffee. The taste was of roasted malts, with a touch of coffee. A very good Dry Stout. NobleSquirrel (3439) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 3, 2013
Draft at Urban Chestnut. Pours deep brown, near black with a tan head. Nose is strongly roasty, toasty & nutty with some herbal hops. On tasting, dry and clean with more roast to dry it out and a bit of a tangy aspect that befits it. Great Dry stout. gregwilsonstl (2735) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - APR 6, 2012
