COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The big brother of our bocks. Darker, maltier, sweeter, and, of course, higher in alcohol than our Maibock. This "bock" could surely take out a troll. OG-18.5 Plato (Snifter)

Lovely doppelbock. Enjoyed this little bastard right after halloween. I have been angry at them for running out so fast.

Bottle poured into a stein. Cloudy brown with a small khaki head. Aroma is nutty with lots of toffee, caramel, sweet malts and a little smoke. Taste is toffee, caramel, and chestnut, with sweet malts and mild, grassy hops. Bread as well. Average thickness and a somewhat crisp finish with mild sweetness.

500mL bottle out of variety pack. Pours a dark ruby copper brown color. This is definitely a doppebock, Its a sweet, malty, syrupy dark lager. A little earthy, a little wet leaf. Very much akin to German doppelbocks. Not like most American doppelbocks. So, some people just dislike the style but I like it. This isn’t the best version of the style but its definitely within the typical bounds.
