Lemon-Lime Lager - "In the time of chimpanzees I was a monkey..." Wha, wha, wha, what?!!! Well it’s like this. If you’re familiar with the Singer/Songwriter ’Beck’, you might recall his breakthrough single ’Loser’ aka ’Perdedor’. A finger-in-your-face song essentially stating, "I might be a loser cuz I’m less than a man, so what are you going to do about it...kill me?! Well that’s kinda like our Lemon-Lime Lager - "I might be a perdedor cuz I’m less than a traditional beer, so what are you going to do about it...spill me?!" "Got a couple of couches sleep on the love seat..." OG 11.2 Plato (Pilsner)

12 ounce bottle. Pours a mostly clear gold with a nice white head. Aroma and taste of citrus, malt, and yeast. Refreshing. Good summer beer.

Bottle at home in London - this beer was given to me as a gift. Pours totally clear yellow-gold, lightly effervescent, with a creamy, white head. A little zesty lemon-lime in the aroma, some pale biscuits. Light sweet flavour with nice crispy biscuits, pale bread, accents of lemon peel, mild bitter straw. Light bodied with average carbonation. Fairly clean on the finish, with more dry pale bread, restrained bitter hay and straw, further accents of rindy and pithy citrus. Nice beer on the whole. Very drinkable.

This was sent to me courtesy of Strykzone. Thanks Dave. It pours a hazy, almost cloudy yellow with a huge white head and very little lacing Nose is lime. Light to medium body and a smooth mouth feel. The flavor is on he tart side sort of like lime zest and some lemon weighs in during the finish. The beer is actually a little hard to drink.

Pint bottle. Yellow gold and pretty much clear. This seems to have the common UCBC yeast but the lager yeast rounds out the sharp edges. It is floral and fruity. Generally sweet with some lemon merangue and bread.

Bottle - small foamy head, hazy pale yellow color, definite lemon and lime aroma and flavor, kind of "shandy" like, ok overall ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at UCBC’s Grove location, served in a glass with a tall body and short stem. Pours a hazy pale gold with a finger of white head that settles into a lasting ring. I wasn’t initially impressed. It has their sort of house character with big pale malts and some bready yeasty notes and not much else; don’t get me wrong, I like the house character, but there wasn’t anything else. Then when I went back to it a few minutes later, I was greeted with the rest - lemon and lime citrus, to be sure, with grass, hay, coriander, mint, and clean fresh grains. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry, fruity, herbal mouthfeel. The malts really settle into the background while the fresh fruitiness and herbs take over. If you get the mixed pack, this is the clear standout. I’m glad I found it on tap instead of having to plop $19 for two each of three beers I don’t want along with this one.

Pours a slightly hazy yellow with a white head. The nose is citrus. The body is medium light. The taste is lager malt with a citrus edge. There is slight bitterness. Half Liter Bottle

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is kind of lemon-lime dishwashing liquid. Flavor is more of the lemon and lime with a super tart finish. More the lime than lemon and a whole lot watery after that. It’s ok for what it is and I’ll admit these type beers are not my thing. It’s more interesting than a Bud Light lime and if shandy’s are your thing give it a try.

Pours a hazy yellow with a respectable white head. Aroma is citrus and grain. Taste is sweet pale malt, bread dough and mild citrus freshness. Good summer slammer.

Terminus (3689) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JUL 18, 2012
Tap at the brewpub June 2012-pours lightly hazy orange with a small soapy white head, nose is lemon lime kafir leaf, like a huge fresh glass of lemon/limeaid. wow, this is wack-lots of lemon lime sprite qualities with a ton of dry spicy hops. very nice session lager for a hot STL day (or any hot place for that matter). refreshing and something unique that i figured would suck, but didnt.
