Very strong banana. Cloudy opaque. Some spices. No head. Very drinkable. Some citrus.
16floz can, date .08.17.2017 (unknown if BBD or COD), $1.75 unit cost, nonic glass. Head recedes quickly to nil atop a hazy golden body. Banana is the strongest of the described aromas, where vanilla and spice are also present. I like this German style hefe, which is not a preferred style of mine. It's light, has fair carbonation, and flavors of lemon-zest and clove. Marheb (6193) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 2, 2017
(En fût à la source): Banane et gingembre fusionnés dans la discrétion dans une svelte pâte de blé. Succulent. willisread (3640) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - OCT 31, 2017
Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a clearish gold with a finger of foam that lingers. Clove forward and banana estery nose. Banana bread with a bit of tang on the palate. Well-rounded on the palate, with more flavor and nuance than most American takes on the style. A nice lemony tang underneath the banana bread notes. Great stuff! slowrunner77 (12804) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 27, 2017

4 oz. draft at El Bait Shop, Des Moines, IA. Appearance is a hazy bold orange golden color with white foam. Nose is wheat/ banana with some underlying, apricot, citrus, white bread. Palate shows light spicy yeast esters ride into a light banana nuance. Vanilla maybe. Overall, pretty true to style with nice balance of flavors. tapefuzz (813) - Massachusetts, USA - SEP 2, 2017
16oz can. Pours a lightly hazy gold with a medium, frothy white head. Aroma is banana, fruity esters, some vanilla, and clove. Taste is banana, bubblegum, wheat, light clove, some spice, and a bit of vanilla. Light+ body. Medium carbonation. Pillowy, slightly slick mouthfeel. hotstuff (5257) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - AUG 25, 2017
Rated on 8-25-2017. (Can) The appearance is a medium sized frothy, very fizzy, and mostly diminishing off-white head. The body is lightly hazy, medium yellow, slow rising carbonation, and spotty lacing. The aroma is wheat, light spice, lemon, toffee, sweet, clove, banana, and malt. The flavor presents wheat, light spice, light clove, sweet, banana, fruity, and malt. The mouthfeel is soft carbonation, smooth and clean. This beer is light-medium bodied. This is an easy drinking beer with an earthy finish. It is very good tasting for the beer style. It is refreshing and worth trying. This is a beer that had I known how good tasting it is, I would have bought several cans of it to have on hand. jgb9348 (6474) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - MAY 29, 2017
Super hazy golden coloured body with a nice, two to three centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of pure wheat, coriander seed, lemons, curacao, bread, yeast and some good bubble gum notes - very nice and truly refreshing smelling. Light-bodied; Great bubble gum yeast qualities at first with a big dose of malt and wheat, some coriander seed freshness and touches of fruits like lemons and oranges and a big dose of flowers near the finish. Aftertaste shows some sweetness, a lot of complexities from the yeast and a very refreshing lemon and orange zest flavour coupled with mellow wheat and a touch of grass near the very end. Overall, a great example of the style and a very refreshing beer for the season or really at any time of the year - even at Christmas time and it below zero! Great to sample and well worth trying if you can find it and making it a ’regular’ beer for the summertime, especially. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint can purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 03-December-2016 for US$3,00 sampled at home in Pungoteague/Onancock, Virginia (Eastern Shore) on 28-May-2017. Pours a bright, hazy golden with a medium white head that quickly fades. The aroma is what is expected in this style. Happily, its done well here. Wheat, banana, spice, lemon, yeast. The taste is slightly tart and slightly sweet. It essentially parallels the nose. Heavy in wheat and spice, still plenty of banana, some bread, lemon, and lesser orange. Some floral elements are found as well. Aftertaste is a mild and lingering duo of banana and lemon. Lighter in body, smooth in texture, and softer in carbonation. This one goes down really well. I’d find it hard for someone not to like this.
