This wasnt my favorite but Im not really big on this style. It is high-class as far as pilsners go and drinkable.

On tap. Pours a clear golden color with a good head and lacing. Aroma of fresh grain and malt sweetness. Taste of Light malt sweetness, grain and trace of citrus. Nice bitterness and a dry finish. Fairly light body, crisp, clean and refreshing. Good German style pilsner that is enjoyable and goes down easy.

Keg at the Midtown location, 12/17/16. Slightly hazy golden, large frothy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of grassy, noble hops and pale doughy malt. The taste matches. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness. 200th pilsner!

This reminded me of my days in Germany Pour is a clear yellow with a large white head. Aroma is a nice dry pils malt with some cracker and grass. Flavor is about the same. Dry malts followed by a nice grassy hop. So dry and clean tasting.

500 ml bottle shared by csbosox. The pour is a light haze yellow golden with a foamy white head. The aroma is clove, bright herbal hops, and cereal grain malt. The taste is the bright herbal hops balanced nicely with the crisp cereal grain malt. Nice floral character as it warms, interesting and expressive. The palate is light to medium bodied with soft natural carbonation and the mineral herbal finish. Nice one. Thanks for sharing Chris.

16oz bottle. Massive, excessive, fluffy, white head. Grassy, herbal, spicy traditional hops. Really well made, much better than 95% of the Pils made in the US. Mild and mellow medium body. Excellent.

Draft. A pretty nice pils, golden color, firm noble hops, no diacetyl, quite clean. One of the better american pilsners.

Tasted on tap at 2016 Wolpertinger Fest in glass German beer mug. It poured a clear straw colour with white foam, thin but persistent with a little lace. 100% true-to-style classic German Pilsener. Crisp grainbill, mellow marshmallow malt sweetness. Noble, grassy and black peppery hop balance. I LOVE these Strisselspalt hops. Light body, strong carbonation. Pleasant mineral water essence. Lingering bittersweet aftertaste with bone dry finish. Good stuff, puts most American competitors to shame.
