ktan w jabeerwocky. na szybko: przejrzysta, z niewielka piana, jasne. aromaty niezbyt intensywne, nieco owocowe, ale o dziwo czulem gruszke, melona... choc tradycyjne nutki a la cytrusy czy zywica tez sie pojawiaja jak najbardziej, troche slodowosci - malo - biszkoptowej. w ustach dosc wytrawne, bez lepkosci i wysokiej slodkosci ktora sie pojawia nieraz w DIPAch, goryczka ewidentna choc nienamolna, dosc krotka. nisko wysycone. dobre.

tmoreau (4008) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - NOV 25, 2015
Shared 16.9 oz. bottle poured to snifters displaying a hazed, more orange than gold color, with a presentable layer of frothy, white head foam, and spots & strands of lacing. The aroma was stone fruit as apricot/peach, with some citrusy orange backup. A pleasant creaminess to the mouthfeel helped amp the body to better than medium, with decent carbonation, and a lingering, citrus & rind bitterness, with alcohol presence duly noted. Generated a fruitier, British IPA feel to it, which was a nice change.

Bottle. Hazy, orange-yellow color, nice fine foamy head. Nice fresh, citrus smell. Light sour taste, heavy bitterness, a bit too mich for my taste. Low carbonation, medium mouthfeel. Bready Malty aftertaste, some off flavour sulfuric, bitter.

Bottle: Hazy, deep golden, bigger rocky, lacy and slowly collapsing off-white head; mild to moderate resiny-flowery nose, traces of yeast and grains plus faint illusions of wood and vanilla; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, creamy MF; well balanced and lingering bitter-sweet finish with notes of flowery hops, cough syrup and caramel; hoppy -as expected- aftertaste. Yes, they can

craighill (100) - GERMANY - AUG 30, 2015
Bottle pours golden-syrup coloured beer under a two-finger white head. Slightly cloudy. Hop aroma is partly green citrus, some orange too, and mostly pine. Oily mouth feel. Not much malt character on tasting. The hop components are strong but broad enough to avoid being too one-dimensional.

Draft @ Marriott, STL. Light hoppy aroma, a little citrus. Color is clear, golden amber, light white head and nice lacing. Flavor of citrus (tangerine?). Med body. Overall a good DIPA, but I expected a bit more hoppiness.

50cl bottle, courtesy of gregwilsonstl, pours with a clear copper body that supports a full light tan head of foam. The modest aroma offers up mango and pineapple as well as mild spicy earthy hops and some citrus. The taste starts smooth with clementine and tangelo citrus and mango to pineapple hop flavor rolling into more and more hop bitterness. It then slides into a modestly bitter and dry finish. Tasty IPA.

dambor (532) - Berlin, GERMANY - JUL 20, 2015
Pours yellow with a nice head. Aroma: pretty subtle aroma of citrus, some pine tree. Taste: very nice refreshing taste, again with subtle taste of citrus, pleasant pine tree and a touch of sweetness from the malt. Also nice bitter, balanced palate. It is very clean and well balanced. This beer is super drinkable, with the 8% ABV well hidden-it can therefore be very dangerous. It is definitely a plus if one can brew a big beer, which at the same time is very clean and subtle. However, I am personally expecting more aromas and flavors from a double IPA.

Pours clear coppery orange with a large off-white head. Smells citrusy and some pine. Taste is pine that moves to citrus. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and mild mouth-carbonation, Urban Chestnut STLIPA finishes with a smooth, soft sweetness.
