Draft at taproom. Pours light orange with a thin white head that leaves a lot of lacing. A little bit of floral on the nose but it’s really faint. Feels really faint to be called a double IPA. I’m not saying it has to be a hop bomb but it feels rather subdued. Finishes clean. It’s not a bad beer but it’s not particularly memorable either. kdm1984 (814) - Missouri, USA - APR 11, 2015
Muted, but sweet and resinous aroma. Flavor follows suit. Not as hoppy as you might expect for an imperial, though. Slightly heavy feeling. A little too malt-forward and thick to be especially enjoyable, plus the hops are too muted for it to have any real balance. Disappointing, as I just discovered this brewery recently and have liked some of what I’ve had. So far, I’ve been much more impressed with their lagers than their ales, and this is no exception. blipp (9171) - La Mesa, California, USA - APR 3, 2015
Draft. Pours orange with a white head. Mild fruity hops, lighter bitterness, faint apple, and moderate sweetness. Not bad. bartlebier (3946) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - MAR 15, 2015
Bulky Germanic 50cl bottle, Biervana. Honeycoated orange marmelade pour. Sweetish mango and gentle resins in aroma turning into well-behaved citrus zest compote, smooth honeyed crystal malts, semi-sec. Decent, but a but too well-behaved for its 8% and bulky offering - a smaller bottle would have sufficed me. kambei70 (1036) - - MAR 14, 2015
2015 bottle. It poured a cloudy orange/amber color with a white head. The aroma was of citrus hops and some pine. The taste was of citrus hops and minor pine. A very tasty DIPA.

Malzig hopfiger Antrunk, süßlich. Exotisch fruchtiger Mittelteil, mild herb, hopfig bleibend. Klebrig, etwas süß, alkoholisch angehaucht. Im Nachgeschmack getreidig. 12/10/9/9/10/10 Skinnyviking (9550) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 11, 2015

It pours a slightly hazy orange color with a small but persistent white head, and the aroma blends piney, grassy, and slightly citrusy hops. The taste is initially quite bitter, but the middle of the flavor balances out nicely to a mildly bitter, slightly sweet, and slightly sour flavor; the aftertaste then evolves into a flavor reminiscent of citrus juice with a slight resin hop note. The palate has a thick texture, soft carbonation, and a medium-full body. wedgie9 (2702) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 4, 2014
From notes. Tasted on 6/5/13 on draft at the brewpub during a baseball trip with Adam and Taylor. Pours hazy orange with an average white head that leaves thin lace. The nose is tropical fruit hops with a slight onion note (not a negative, but something I get from some hop combinations sometimes) and light bread malt. The flavor is a bit maltier on the palate with the same tropical fruit, touch of onion, and an added orange peel bitterness. The body is medium and oily with average carbonation and a long bitter hops finish. Yorker (1979) - Herning, DENMARK - DEC 2, 2014
50 cl bottle @ home. Pours hazy amber with some sediment and a white head that leaves a little lacing. Aroma and flavour are peach, pine, flowers, and caramel - with a bitter finish.
