3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Appearance is copper with a thick white foam cap. Aroma is a little citrus and pine, with a hint of earthy/ herbal as well. Overall aroma is a bit subdued for the style. Taste is light caramel and toasted malt with hint of apricot that gives way to a smooth, intense bitterness. Mouthfeel is light to medium. Finish is fairly dry and balanced. Pretty solid beer but lacks the intensity of most beers in the DIPA style
On tap in goblet at the source. Appearance is clear light amber with finger-width white foamy head with decent retention. Aroma is cracker malts, lighter tropical fruit and citrus. Taste is surprisingly cracker malt forward with milder tropical fruit and citrus. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with soft-to-average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, not sure how intentional it was to have this so malty--it does trend toward more standard Germanic style offerings from the brewer and would be a good intro to DIPA for those who enjoy blondes, lagers, marzens, etc. but is not as big and bold with hops as your average DIPA. jbruner (5466) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - NOV 1, 2017
Pours a clear golden orange on tap with fluffy white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of mild piney and fruity hop notes over bready and caramel malts. Taste follows, balanced and tasty, booze well hidden. It's ok. cobaink2 (843) - seattle, Washington, USA - AUG 13, 2017
Bottle from tavour. Tastes of grass and caramel. Very clean looking beer. Everything
About it seems to be on mark but just wish there was a fruitiness about that would take it
Over the top. petemw (2) - - AUG 4, 2017 does not count
Good DIPA. Nice color, not overwhelming taste. Nice change from some of the heavier ones.

16.9 floz bottle that I could not find a freshness date, $2.50. Appears golden with very little head, and possesses an overripe fruit nose. Palate is not very harsh, so if it has 100 IBU then it isn’t noticeable to that level. More of an earthy and biscuity IPA than what is typically available. An alright beer, worth having on an occasion, but not anything to seek out.

Off pink pour. Holy hops. Definately a double shot of hops. A lor of pine and grass if you like that Clareeses (191) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - MAR 17, 2017
On draft at Sqwire’s. Mild aroma of hand lotion in the nose. Pours clear golden color, good head retention and moderate carbonation. Bitter piney hops initially and finishes slightly basic and alkaline, which takes this IPA a notch down for me. muzzlehatch (4975) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 26, 2017
500 ml bottle from Valli Produce in Rockford, IL, served a bit below cellar temp from a Guinness pint glass. Big frothy off-white head decays at moderate haste, leaving chunky lace atop the somewhat hazy/oily bright gold body... nose is musty-sweet, yeasty, redolent of honey-sourdough, just a touch off-putting, almost "sickly-sweet" but OK I guess, not all that strong though...body is rather syrupy, with a doughy yeastiness that the nose prepared me for, sweet and not all that bitter until the finish - and even that is only a bit drier and a bit harder...thick, not quite cloying, low carbonation. I guess it’s drinkable, in that I’ll likely finish this bottle, but that’s about all I can say, not one of my favorites and another not-so-impressive offering from this brewery; getting close to giving up on these guys. Keg at the Midtown location, 12/17/16. Clear amber, large creamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of grapefruit, lemon, pale malt. The taste is grapefruit, pith, lemon, pale malt. Medium bodied.
