On tap at Urban Chestnut on Jan 11th. Pours a golden orange color with white head. Simple hop, grassy, earthy flavors. Simple IPA. adnielsen (10601) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JAN 11, 2013
Tap @ Urban Chestnut. Pours a clear golden appearance with a tan head. Spicy, big dms, cauliflower, cooked veggie aroma. Woody, stewed veggie, toasted malty flavor. Fuck my life. ryanfolty (2538) - Bourbon County, Minnesota, USA - JAN 8, 2013
January 8, 2013 on tap at bewpub. Clear orange pour with some head. Citrus hops and malt in aroma and taste. Not overly complex, but for a not big ipa drinker this worked for me. NobleSquirrel (3438) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 2, 2013
Draft at Urban Chestnut. Interesting choice for an IPA. Pours a pale orange with white head. Hazy. Nose is earthy malt, very clean with an herbal hop profile. Fresh cut grass and toast. On tasting, medium-low bitterness, soft and delicate. Rich malt profile, earthy and clean. More herbal than anything, light orange. Interesting beer. gregwilsonstl (2452) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - DEC 26, 2012
Reddish amber. Lots of lacing. Thin head. Not too bitter. Decent easy to drink ipa.

Draft at urban. Pours good with white head. Aroma has florals, leather, citrus. Flavors have leather, blood orange, and big floral finish. Good base. Interesting hop. seymour (1984) - Maplewood, Missouri, USA - OCT 12, 2012
UPDATED: OCT 15, 2015 Tasted on tap at brewpub in a willybecher glass. It poured a beautiful copper color with some chill haze and everlasting white foam, Belgian lace. Very pleasant hops aroma, seemed like familiar German noble characteristics but with a lemony, flowery, honey-like twist. Very tasty biscuity malt backbone, mild buttery diacetyl and vanilla aromas (a little pils malt in the mix?) Light-medium body, strong carbonation, lingering bittersweet aftertaste. A nice, nuanced, single-hop IRA. Well-crafted and highly drinkable. phaleslu (10098) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 23, 2012
Draft at the brewpub, served in an imperial nonic glass. Pours a cloudy amber color with a finger of beige head that lasts for just about the whole ride down. Aroma of grassy and floral hops, fresh cut wood, caramel malts, toast, and a little bit of citrus. Flavor of floral hops, grapefruit citrus, caramel malts, pine resin, wood, and toast. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a malty, resinous mouthfeel. Looks like my rating is falling right in line with the rest. This is a very nice IPA. vyvvy (6389) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - JUL 13, 2012
Pours hazy light copper with a sturdy beige soapy head. The aroma has floral, spruce and spicy hops along with sturdy caramel malt with an overall dryness. The body is fairly full for an IPA with fairly soft carbonation. The flavor begins with a maltiness that is sweeter than the aroma with some apple/nectar fruit juiciness to it. There is a bit of caramel and toast to the malt. The hops presence has spice, perfume, grass, grapefruit and pine. This is a bit more malty than expected, but since it was brewed for a festival about a month ago some of the hops must have faded. Very pleasant and balanced. Maybe a bit on the malty side, but the hops still show through nicely. Another solid beer from Urban Chestnut. jandd1983 (4270) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - JUN 17, 2012
Sampled at the 2012 Heritage Festival. It poured a slight hazed/golden color with a white head. The aroma was earthy, leafy grass, with a fresh bready pils malt. The taste was slight fruity, still herbal, grassy and earth, with toasty doughy malts, crackery light pils, and a mostly clean finish. A very good IPA.
