Deaft at the brewery. Almost clear and golden. A half finger of white head on top. This was fairly well hopped and they were European hops with sulpher. Some grain and some cereal. Maybe the least exciting beer I have had here but still not bad at all. SrSilliGose (3330) - pouring bus, New Brunswick, CANADA - JUL 11, 2011
tap at brewpub. solid bohemian pilsner. reminded me of the fresh unpasteurized pilsner urquel on tap in czech republic. pleasant, bright rustic grass hop profile backed by a dry toasted doughy cereal malt backing. good. liked quite a bit. Terminus (3679) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JUN 13, 2011
tap-lite orange with a small soapy white head with no lacing. grainy, grassy nose as a pils should be. quite phenolic and alot of sulfer as well, which is to be expected as well. true to style. lots of spicy hops on the flavors that fade long into the finish. this is really tasty adn what i would want on a hot STL day. the finish goes on forever-i really like that about a pils. nice! badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - JUN 7, 2011
Clear golden with a fizzy white head. Oat grain vanilla and malt aroma and taste. esjaygee (3904) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 1, 2011
On tap at Urban Chestnut brewpub. The first of the oddly named brews I tried here. Hazy straw yellow with a moderate white topper. Aroma of noble hops, fruit, a touch of smoke and grains. Taste of noble hops, corn, grains, sweet malt and a touch of fruit. Crisp finish.

A few glasses from a growler filled 6 days previous at the brewery tasting room in St Louis, Missouri. Pour is golden, nice soft haze with a smallish white head. Nice unfiltered look. Aroma is toasty cracker mildly sweet malt, along with fresh earthy hops. Super clean and balanced. Taste is the nose, toasted malt with the straw and earth hops, perfectly balanced really soft, delicate and fresh tasting. The mild sweetness if present, but even less than in the nose. Palate is medium to light bodied, unfiltered mouth feel, mineral finish, dry and crisp finish. Super easy drinking beer, right up my alley. jandd1983 (4276) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - MAR 7, 2011
Sampler at the brewpub. It pours a cloudy yellowish color with a decent white head. The aroma was of malts, wheat, hops, and yeast. The flavor is very light, with a wheaty, and decent carbonation. It was one of the more flavorful brews on tap. vyvvy (6392) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - FEB 21, 2011
Pours golden with a light hazy and small white head. The aroma has thicker maltiness than normal for a pilsner. It doesn’t seem crisp and first, but further down the glass it seems more that way. There is not a bit hoppiness on the aroma. Medium body that is very smooth for the style and there is soft carbonation. The flavor starts with a thick maltiness, some sulfur, bits of biscuit, grassy/spicy hops and some earthiness. The finish is very sulfur heavy that gives it a mineral taste and it works very well for the beer. Really nice unfiltered pils. kwoeltje (2233) - Manchester, Missouri, USA - FEB 18, 2011
(draught stein at brewpub) wasn’t sure what to expect, but the guy next to me at the bar was enjoying his. Gold with scant white head. Aroma of slightly sweet pale malt and a bit of hops. Flavor is very slightly sweet malty goodness with some hops in the finish. Great mouthfeel and body. Much better than I expected.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a somewhat cloudy yellow-gold color with a finger-thick white head. Aroma of pale malts, wheat, straw, grassy hops, cereal, and a dry yeast note. Flavor is also big on wheat and cereal grains, along with pale malts, straw, and some light sugary sweetness. Light-bodied, with a wheaty, grainy mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Dry all the way through, especially on the finish. Just a really nice pilsener.
