Aroma is complex spices and malts. The flavor is complex spices, mild bubblegum, malts, fruit/berries and a mix of sour and tart/slightly sweet in the finish.

500 ml bottle. Pours a dark orange. Lots of yeast and spice and a vegetable character from the squash. Tasty. This is really solid and went beyond what I expected.

On Draught
Pours a rust color with a small but well retained head.

The aroma is mostly squash and a bit of sage. Very mellow on the nose but still inviting.

The flavor is dry but has such a pleasant spice & squash character that is comes off as reasonably rich. Itís just very lightly tart & has a nice earthy quality to it. Itís neither especially dry nor sweet, balanced in an unexpected way for a farmhouse version of a spice/veggie beer.

Draft 12 oz pour at Urban Family. Not.sure if I like squash, but I know I never elect to eat it. I do, however, elect to drink it in a beer obviously. A dark amber pour with a thin, fading fizz head. A ton of spicy malt aroma. Flavor is a creamy vegetable constant, with a sweet malt to balance. Slight herb, slight bran. An odd mint like coolness late. This beer isnít bad, just really weird I guess. Interesting for sure though.

On tap at Urban Family, pours a hazy dark copper orange with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out lots of squash and various spiced notes. Flavour brings out a mix of rustic farmhouse notes, squash and spices. Bizarre stuff - itís certainly well-constructed but not sure Iím a big fan of the spice mix. Okay.
